My boyfriend and I stayed in the Blue Heaven B&B for one night and loved our stay. The B&B is in the heart of the historic district and a short 10 minute walk to the riverfront. Parking is plenty in front of the B&B. We stayed in the Key West room which had great decoration and a very comfortable bed....

What a wonderful place to stay when you visit Wilmington, if you are staying for at least a couple of nights, so you can enjoy Jay's (the owner) super breakfast...early morning coffee on the front porch, homemade brekky at 9 ( and he takes into account dietary issues) and have your happy hour on the front porch in the late...

This was my first stay at a B&B and I will say that I was a bit intimidated by the idea. However, it proved to be a very pleasant experience. Jay was an excellent host, informed us about the area and was attentive while providing privacy. The location is great, a short walk to the river and lots of restaurants...

We made a quick one night trip to Wilmington, NC and stayed at Blue Heaven. It was a great get away! Jay, the innkeeper, was a gracious host and a great chef. He provided great local information for shopping, dining and desert. We will return for another visit!

Absolutely perfect. Everybody else has said it. Best location, extremely knowledgeable and friendly host, great atmosphere, VERY comfy beds, wonderful breakfasts. You can walk to any nearby attraction or restaurant within 10 minutes. The outside sitting areas are like little bits of heaven... so quiet and comfortable, with great views.

My parents and I recently stayed here for 2 nights for part of our family vacation. Blue Heaven, and it's owner Jay, exceeded our expectations! The house itself is a large old home built in the late 1800's in the historic district. It's VERY close to the riverwalk and the main street and is an easy 5-10 minute walk away....

The Blue Heaven Bed and Breakfast has become a home away from home for our family. During the New Year 2014 season, my family and I stayed here again for the fifth time! When staying at the Blue Heaven, we experience superb service each morning when the owner offers a great breakfast (built into the price). He is very hospitable...

“I stayed in the Key West room because it had a bathroom included. The decor is Key West green, which is because of it's namesake from a restaurant in key west. I liked the decorations of the Newport room better, because the theme was more stereotypically southern, but I went with the Key West so I could have a bathroom connected (the Newport room has a bathroom across the hall).”
