This Bed & Breakfast is located in downtown Wilmington, so it's quaint and convenient. We parked and were able to walk to the shops and restaurants. We stayed one night in the Hemingway Room. The room was on the second floor, large and comfortable with a nice balcony facing Front Street. The couple that operate the Inn are very accommodating...

I would echo the vast majority of recent comments, so I'll be brief. Richard and Polly clearly care about providing a great stay, and our one-night visit was flawless. We stayed in the Georgia O'Keefe room, which was spacious and colorful. As has been said before, the photos don't begin to do this place justice--much nicer in person. Everything was...

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at From Street Inn in June for our anniversary. Though we had to arrive late due to the distance to travel after work, Richard was happy to assist us with after hours move in. The homemade breakfasts were incredible (I consistently went back for seconds). Unlike typical B&Bs, the Inn didn't...

Each room is unique and named for a famous person. The Molly Brown has a full kitchen. The bedroom is a separate room. Lots of space to relax. The free breakfasts are so tasty. Each morning there is fresh baked quiche, pastry, muffins and specialty bread. There is fresh fruit of the season, juices, cereals, coffee and toast. During the...

We chose the Front Street Inn for the location - which did not disappoint, in walking distance from everything we wanted to see and do in downtown Wilmington. We could have spent the day with the staff, excellent hosts! We tend to look to the chain hotels for our travel, but enjoyed our pick of this B&B. The room (I...

Absolutely love the friendliness of this inn. They allow some dogs, so it was great to take my pup with me to Wilmington. Breakfast in the morning is great. Richard goes out of his way to make things easy and accommodating. The rooms are so cozy and homey feeling! I have stayed in two different rooms, I recommend the ones...

What a wonderful place. We planned a relaxing four days here after touring round the Carolinas and Georgia. And that's what we had. Quirky room, great breakfasts and delightful company. Some touring tips too. The Inn is so handy for Wilmington's attractions, just a few minutes walk from everything except the beaches. The restaurants nearby were varied and variable, but...

My wife and I stayed four nights here while visiting Wilmington and surrounding beaches. The Front Street Inn's ideal location within walking distance of Wilmington's varied restaurants and shops is only the beginning of its many attractions. The house's historic charms have been maintained and enhanced. The rooms are immaculate and feel like home. Our spacious suite (the Bistro) has...

Wife and I saw this place many years ago and had hopes of one day spending a night there. To celebrate our 22 year wedding anniversary and as a last minute decision the wife called and was greeted with extreme comfort and ease, room was booked and we traveled to our destination. It must be said, that we didn't realise...

We arrived in a driving rainstorm and the innkeeper was holding the door open for us. Since it was in the off season, he had multiple rooms available and let us choose one. We were very comfortable in the spacious Pearl Buck room with its small jacuzzi tub, refrigerator, coffee maker, table for two with a lovely flower arrangement, and...
