The Graylyn is a beautiful place to stay. It's history is impressive. The staff is very attentive to any desire you have. The grounds are beautiful. The breakfast is wonderful. The building is old and the rooms are not modern, but that contributes to its beauty! I will stay there anytime, I visit my grandson at Wake Forest.

Beautiful estate; excellent food and service. We were there for the Murder Mystery Weekend Jan 20-22. I would recommend the Estate to anyone traveling for business or pleasure. Be sure to sign up for the Tour d' Jour tour with the estate Butler.

The beauty of the surroundings and the warmth of the staff make it a most welcoming experience. The breakfast is glorious. If you have a student at Wake Forest University, it's the perfect place to stay to be with them and enjoy a mini-vacation for yourself.

The staff is very friendly & accommodating! The setting was amazing. The grounds & buildings are unique & historic. Our particular room was on the 2nd floor, a bit stuffy. The bathroom was a bit small. Next time, we will request a remodeled room. The breakfast was wonderful! Overall, a good experience.

If you like Old Estates...this is a must! However, the odd side to our visit was the condition of the rooms. The Library suite we stayed in(211)was a fine example of an old paneled Library with the most comfortable bed ever. Be prepared though for an old outdated bathroom with old, slow plumbing?! With a little updating this could be...

Our experience at Graylyn was such an unexpected pleasure. From our orientation "tour" by the staff, to the wonderful roaring fireplace in the Pub, and the comfortable accommodations it was an extraordinary experience!

Lovely pastoral setting, great service and great food. Very relaxing. Beautiful grounds and interesting buildings. Rooms are old but well-cleaned and well-kept. I love the location between Wake Forest University and downtown Winston-Salem, thus affording easy access to both.

A great historic atmosphere. A little sleepy. Service was excellent. Rooms a little cold and dark but that can easily be fixed. Beds very cozy. Breakfast included and was tasty. I am sure it is really great in season.

My welcome included an upgrade to a beautiful room in the Manor House. The elegant accommodations and warm , gracious hospitality at Graylyn are 5 star . You feel like a guest of the Gray family. Breakfast had a myriad of delicious choices. It's always a treat to stay here. Can't wait to return!
