We purchased a New Year's Eve package: wine and cheese, followed by a concert (not on premises) and a champagne toast at midnight. The room was spacious with beautiful high ceilings. It was cold (60 degrees), and when we asked about it, we were given a space heater within 5 minutes of our call! They were very gracious about it!...

The Brookstown Inn was so beautiful during the holidays! Our large room was so comfortable. Thanks to the thoughtful, professional staff for doing everything they could to make a difficult time so much better. Their concern for the needs of two senior handicap guests in our group will always be remembered with great appreciation. The central location and conference areas...

The Brookstown Inn is wonderful! Beautiful hotel, very charming. Historic as well. Surrounding neighborhood was nice. Friendly staff, great milk and cookies and delicious breakfast in a lovely dining room. We will definitely stay here again!

Wow, the Inn was more than I expected and the service was excellent. Our suite was so spacious and a unique two floor open floor plan. Very comfortable and cozy furnishings. The exterior brick walls with big tall windows that brought in a lot of light. Loved the huge wood beams and wood planking that created the ceiling. Incorporating the...

We planned a quick getaway to visit Old Salem during Christmas week. I called the hotel directly for a reservation because I needed to confirm they could accommodate a family of 5. It was a simple quick call. Check in was friendly and the lobby was very charming. When we entered our room, my children were so excited to see...

I normally do not write reviews but our stay at The Historic Brookstown Inn was WONDERFUL. Can't say enough good things about this place. The entire staff was wonderful. The General Manager even took time to share the history of the Inn with my Fiance' and I. In a time of hustle and bustle, this was a relaxing place to...

We loved our one-night stay here. It felt historic without feeling creaky. Breakfast was better than I would've expected for the price. The staff was terrific. Everyone we encountered went out of their way to be helpful. Parking was easy, you're within easy walking distance of Old Salem...not sure what else you could want from a hotel like this. One...

Let me say from the start, the building is old. The floors creak a bit, there will forever be something that needs to be done...a bit of chipped paint here and there...but it is historic and very affordable. We loved the quirks of the building, we loved the feel of it from the moment we entered. We arrived to love...

This hotel is situated in a renovated cotton mill. We stayed in one of the bi-level suites which provided a large amount of space. The king bed was exceptionally comfortable. The Inn offers extras like a wine and cheese reception in the late afternoon, cookies before bed and a breakfast buffet in the morning. Several dining choices are in the...

Loved the huge rooms with exposed brick and the downstairs rooms used for the 6pm wine tastings as well as milk and cookies get togethers later in the evening. Although the breakfasts were fine, they were more akin to "continental breakfast" venues. The staff was very hospitable, even met the lady who led the property conversion (what a great effort)....
