TV was a little difficult to operate, problem with remote. Bathroom could have used a nightlight. Stairs into the room could have used night lighting. Luggage carts for wings beyond front lobby would have been nice.

Had the pleasure of staying overnight, the room was spacious and had all amenities needed. The bed was comfortable. The front desk went out of their way to assist us in the morning with some early food requests before the breakfast was open by personally going into the kitchen for some snacks and fruit. There was a comfy sitting room...

This hotel was a wonderful addition to a trip full of history. After a day at Reynolda Art Museum and Graylyn, the public rooms at Brookstown Inn were a perfect way to end a gorgeous day! It was also a wonderful way to prepare for the next day at Old Salem.

A smaller place to stay. Room was spacious and beds so very comfortable. Delicious breakfast in a dining room. We enjoyed the wine and appetizers in the bar once we checked in. We asked for a recommendation for dinner and they told us about Di Lisio's Italian Restaurant right across the street. Fantastic food and wine. Would highly recommend both...

The developer did an excellent job in repurposing this large brick cotton mill. The room consisted of two levels: sitting room below with bed and bathroom a few steps above. Very comfortable. The staff was pleasant, accommodating and very helpful. A very short walk to Historic Old Salem and a slightly longer walk to bars and restaurants downtown. The latter...

My wife son and I stayed here before a hospital visit the following day. The room was large with high ceilings. Other than that it wasn't all that special. There was free breakfast but it wasn't great. The wine at the free wine give away was crappy nc wine. If you enjoy staying in upscale hotels don't bother coming here....

The location of the Brookstown Inn is perfect for walking to Old Salem and nearby restaurants. Our room was nice with many antiquities. The room was also very clean. We enjoyed the afternoon wine and cheese and my husband was a fan of the cookies. Breakfast was ok. The eggs and grits were not good but the breads and fruit...

I absolutely loved this historic charmer. We arrived right at the wine and cheese hour and someone in the audience stood up with the musicians and belted out a beautiful melody. Anyway, the room was huge and the bed so comfy. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll come here!

The Staff was unusually friendly and helpful throughout our 4 day stay. The room was large, the beds comfortable with very nice linens. The parking was easy. The breakfast and nighty wine and cheese and cookies and milk later was abundant. We would definitely stay again.
