I have been a Hilton Diamond Member for a long time and I cannot remember being treated this well in recent memory. When I arrived at 12am due to a bad delay in my flight, the night auditor greeted me, gave me my room keys and offered me a couple drinks to take up to the room. He even identified an issue with my reservation where my account didn’t get linked to it. It was corrected, however, I had a room where they had snacks in room. It was replenished regularly and I was very appreciative. They did do housekeeping one night - I did not ask them to (in COVID times that may be a negative to some) but it was a nice touch on an already wonderful stay. Believe me when I say don’t go anywhere else - these people take care of you.
My husband is a Diamond member and we frequently stay at Hilton brand hotels. When we visit Fargo both for his work and to see family who live nearby, we always go to this hotel. The staff is friendly and the location is great. We were told when we checked in (June 30) that the policy for Diamond rewards and breakfast was changing effective July 1 but that since our stay and reservation were before the change, we would be grandfathered in and only on the next stay would it take effect. Breakfast was previously included at no extra cost, but the change would be to issue a $10 voucher toward breakfast with you paying the difference. The person checking us in also explained that room cleaning is only available upon request. We were staying 5 nights so we wanted extra shampoo and conditioner, cups and wanted towels changed out once and garbage emptied. We made a call to remind the desk of this after three nights and they sent someone right up. The pool and hot tub are kept clean snd not many people were using them. We enjoyed some time in the evenings in that area. We also take advantage of the water cooler in the work out room - filling our water bottles. When we received our bill after our stay, we saw that we had been charged full price for breakfast after the first two days. My husband called and they immediately made the adjustment to the bill (no charge for breakfast as we were grandfathered in for this stay).…
Not accommodating at all. The pizza buffet was horribly bland. They would not turn on the tv in the bar area because the bar was closed on a Friday night and they claimed it was agains state law to let us sit there and watch the hockey game. Zero attempt to accommodate us and we felt like we were a nuisance to them.
Due to being stranded in a snow blizzard we had to get to the closest Hilton. Thankfully just 2 blocks away! On a busy Friday night, was able to book on the Hilton app and check in within 2 minutes! At check in they gave me toothpaste and toothbrush. My toddler was given 2 ducks… she loved them! This Hilton was so hospitable, comfy beds, comfy cozy room, quiet room even on a busy Friday night …so thankful! Even with the struggles, of a fire alarm and no usb plug ins in the room, this hotel was the best stay with Hilton Hotels in a long time! Appreciate the professionalism of the staff and housekeepings excellent cleaning! The Best Hilton in Fargo!
We stayed due to a wedding and this was where the bride selected. As a family, we were not impressed with the pool cleanliness or sleeping accommodations. Our tv power did not work and we were unable to fix it due to the time of the night.
We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for my cousin’s wedding. The hotel is nicely located in an area of Fargo where you can easily go anywhere. The rooms were nice and clean and I have no idea how they keep underneath the bed so clean but I was super impressed. The pool was smaller but nice and warm and the jacuzzi was great! I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Fargo!!!!
Everything looks great except room cost, crazy!! Can’t believe that tax, fee and etc is so expensive… for per night…. Crazy!!! About breakfast, I thought we can do ourselves to serve but we have to sit and order the breakfast. I’m not happy with it….
I had never stayed at this hotel before, I stay in Fargo on a regular basis. I booked a king suite a few days in advance as it was for my birthday and I wanted a nicer, bigger room just to splurge. We got there and I was informed they had overbooked the king suites so my only choices were a standard king or room with two queens. At that point it was too late to find a different hotel so I settled for the standard king, which was nothing special. The mattress for the bed sits on box type frame which extends out beyond the mattress and I hit my shin on it that night and got a goose egg and bruise. Breakfast...way overpriced. Wasn't told there was a flat rate of $13.50 each, would've gone elsewhere. Won't stay here again.
Room was decent and ready upon arrival. Hotel was clean and quiet. Breakfast service was not worth the time. They tell you to have a seat but then take forever to come take your order. Took 55 minutes to bring out breakfast “hot” options ordered which then were served cold. Waitress never came around to bring coffee etc. Complete waste of time. Seemed very understaffed.
Three weeks into a 9 week road trip we were in Fargo, ND. We always stay at Hilton Properties when we travel so we had reservations at our favorite property which is a Hilton Garden Inn. We find their beds to be the best and the made to order breakfast is always great. Due to COVID there are changes to amenities and service, but still very nice and accommodating. We called down to the front desk asking if there were two extra pillow we could have and as usual they ran them right up. The WiFi was great as was the morning breakfast in that they had everything I like as usual. So great service and great hotel in a perfect location! Highly recommend!
