Very nice hotel. Small kitchen which was nice and clean. Fridge with ice maker, stove top, sink and micro wave.
Only thing is you need to bring your own kitchen supplies… cutlery, dishes etc. I do believe you could also get those supplies at the desk.
Would be great place to stay for an extended period of time.

Pet friendly room was adequate. Front desk staff put out a card stating away from desk helping other guests & to go to the “lounge” to call 0 for immediate assistance . When you do they’re just behind a closed door close by? Why do that? Weird. Night desk person wasn’t too friendly basically demanding I needed to read & sign the pet policy. Only place we’d stayed in 7 days anyone required that. Didn’t like the attitude & won’t stay @ another My Place, that is for sure. Maybe this is why I have never heard of this hotel chain.
Was nice they allowed cats & I protect every place we stayed to prevent any damage from them. I.E. aluminum foil over corners of furniture & we covered the furniture & brought cat scratchers. Didn’t want to end up for damages. I was taught to treat places like you lived there & respect things. So we do.
Kitchenettes were nice, but nothing is provided like silverware & dishes? Why provide dish soap then? Weird. Refrigerator was great, but wish we’d seen the “turn on ice maker sign” before we were leaving. Would have been handy to have had ice.
Nice, but never again. Will stick with places that actually give you breakfast rather than making you pay for it. We’ve stayed @ nicer & worse places & still got breakfast with our stay. STRANGE policy!

We stayed here in 2021 early in the pandemic and had a great experience. Having the kitchen was great, along with it being fully equipped. That is no longer the case. You have to pay for (and buy) any piece of silverware or a plate or cup. Unfortunately, they don't let guests know that or that paper plates are available. We didn't find out until we were leaving. It would help tremendously if this info was displayed in the rooms so people knew what their options were or we were told at check in.
We paid for a "queen room" and were placed with a full size bed. (We have a full sized bed at home, so if it was a queen, it was the smallest queen I've ever seen.) I didn't know hotel rooms even used those anymore. We were too tired from our travels to ask to switch rooms. But other reviews stated they were not allowed to switch rooms, so we didn't bother to ask partly because we were only staying one night - that was our fault that we didn't inquire.
There was no comfortable chair in our room - a space for it, but no chair. The shower was almost impossible to use and though we figured it out, it was really cumbersome. Our bathroom door didn't close all the way. There was never anyone at the front desk. We had to either wait or call the desk from the lobby phone.
I know my review is fairly negative, but I gave 4 stars because it was clean, very comfy beds and linens, convenient location, and great to find a nice place to bring a pet. But the issues listed above most likely mean we won't stay again.

The accommodations were pleasant enough. Would have enjoyed a hot breakfast downstairs. Room service breakfast doesn't sound appealing. Although the photographs showed a two-burner electric stove in the rooms, there are zero pots, pans and dinnerware. The front desk told we to go to Walmart and buy a toaster oven. Since people don't usually travel with a skillets, we're curious why there's a hot plate in the room.
This is definitely a budget hotel with adequate accommodations. I believe next time through town, we would look at other facilities which are comperably priced.

I am sorry to hear that your stay at the My Place Hotel Jamestown was not up to what you had hoped. We do have the 24-hour My Store, where we supply pots and pans, and there's a 24-hour Wal-Mart just across the highway. Again, I am sorry to hear that our kitchen area did not meet all your expectations, here's hoping you enjoyed a comfortable night's sleep. Thank you for the feedback, it is appreciated. Alysha, Ericka and David were amazing! We have never stayed at a My Place before, but definitely will be staying here whenever possible! The room was super clean, and we loved the fact there is a kitchenette in the room. No dishes or anything, but the front desk has paper/plastic, or you can buy some from their little store they have. The only complaint I would have would be that housekeeping sometimes lets the doors slam as they go in/out of rooms, and as a light sleeper I was woken up a few times. Other than that, it was great and I will be back!

We have never stayed at a My Place Hotel before but this will not be our last time. We loved it! Such an efficient, well organized room. Full frig, microwave, cabinets, sink, stove top. No free continental breakfast but a store with available food onsite and we did our own. The employees were wonderful and so helpful. Beds were comfortable, nice TV, table and chairs a little bigger than other hotels we have been in. And a comfortable recliner! Liked the bathroom. There is a washer/dryer onsite which we took advantage of. Very restful, comfortable visit.

I had never tried this brand, I have loyalties with other chains but they didn't have a suitable motel in Jamestown so I decided to try "My Place." I'm glad that I did. it is an excellent option at it's price point.
The property is very clean, I won't be using the kitchenette on this trip but often need one and I will defiantly check for "My Place" for extended business stays.
Zach the Manger checked me in and was very proud of his brand, as a business traveler I respect that. Loyalty speaks well of both Zach and of "My Place." I signed up for the rewards program.
I would love to see you develop an app.
Keep up the good work.

Excellent place to stay for the price and for your pet’s comfort. The room was very spacious and included a full sized fridge, and cooking elements. This for the same price we payed at other hotels. The staff were all great and were excited to meet our pet ferrets.

After a long couple of days driving icy winter roads, we were looking forward to a good evening and rest. Reading the reviews would make one believe that this place is 'excellent'. We wanted to make a cocktail to unwind in the room - NO ICE. No ice-maker on premise. We had to drive to a gas station to get ice. We had some soup in our cooler that we wished to heat for dinner. No pans, bowls, silverware - NOTHING. Oh wait, you can BUY a pan in the "store" in the lobby for $18.00. You can buy a glass for $3.00. I forgot the price of a bowl.. We have stayed a budget hotels that are way more equipped than this. Never again. This hotel chain needs to figure it out.

We're sorry you were unhappy with your stay. At check-in guests are informed that we do not have a big ice maker on site but each room has their own in the freezer. Upon arrival all you have to do is turn your ice maker on. Although we do not supply free in room dishware, we do have complimentary paper and plastic downstairs in the office available to any guest who inquires.

My Place was perfect for our needs because we were staying multiple nights, we don't need a free breakfast because we generally fix our own and it doesn't have a pool, so it's pretty quiet (no large groups of teams stay there). The kitchenette had lots of storage space. You do have to furnish your own silverware and dishes, but we always have those in the car. The front staff we had contact with were helpful and knew their job. Be aware that lovely photo of the outdoor eating area with a grill is very close to the interstate, so we didn't check it out. The location, however, can't be beat for traveling in town and in the wider area.

No they do not. They have nothing. The Quality Inn and Marriott near by both have pools and water slides.
