Cozy hotel in a good location, close to the sea. It is a max 5 mins walk to the beach and all the amenities are located nearby. Food was tasty and usually a good variety. The most important thing: all areas where clean and tidy. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean (cleaned and changed towels daily). Hotel staff usually nice and helpful ( except the bartender at pool bar who was very rude, unplesant and arrogant). The entertainment team Ani, Monic and Paco were friendly, keen and enthusiastic, they were all lovely! With friends we spent nice time.
I would recommend this hotel.

I chose this hotel to spend vacations with my friend and this hotel is in great location as it is close to various attractions of the city and the beach. Also the time spent there was so enjoyable because of the people we met. The animation team was amazing and it was great to spend time with them.
Although the holidays were great I still have some concerns when it comes to the cleaning of the rooms, as our room was only cleaned ones. Also the food wasn’t that good as expected.
However, overall the experience was nice.

Hotel Odessos offers a delightful culinary experience with a wide variety of food options to cater to all tastes. The extensive selection ensures that every guest can find something they enjoy. Of course not all dishes was good for me, but i never left a meal hungry.

The accommodations at Hotel Odessos are well-matched to their price point, offering a comfortable stay that represents good value for money.

A standout feature of the hotel is its team of animators who make leisure time enjoyable. With a range of activities available throughout the day and evening, both children and adults can have a wonderful time.

The hotel staff at Hotel Odessos provide exceptional and professional service, creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

The food at this hotel was worse than in any other hotel I have ever been in. That might sound like an exaggeration, but it is unfortunately true. Many staff speak almost no English. (The staff member serving drinks in the restaurant could not even understand 'water')
However, on the plus side, if you enjoy saunas, you will love the rooms. Ours had no air-conditioner and the staff refused to give us an alternate room. This can only be done when authorised by a manager. As they do not have a duty manager on all shifts, this means that they will not change your room at night or any time the manager is not available. The receptionist even mentioned that he does not have authority to change the room if the room were flooded or had no water or no power. And he said that they never have a manager on duty 24 hours. So if you stay here and have any problems in the evening, you will not have your problem resolved until morning.

Response from Vanya Baykusheva, Revenue Management at Park Hotel Odessos
Responded 13 Jul 2020
Dear Geleisen, we are very sorry to hear that you left the hotel disappointed. Most of our guests enjoy the meals that we offer. We are sorry that your food options could not meet your taste. Each of our staff members speaks at least English. They speak also German, French, Russian or Ukraine. You were offered a room change, but you have prefered to leave the hotel. You have been refunded for the second night at the hotel. As being Travel Life member and a nature-friendly hotel we have implemented a system which turns off the air-conditioning when the temperature outside is below 21 C. We are sorry that this has caused you inconvenience. After your departure, the chambermaid has found a credit card in your room and she has brought it immediately at the reception. The Front Office Manager has contacted you, to inform you that you have left your credit card at the hotel and to ask you how would you like to get it back. We are sorry that you think this is bad service provided by rude staff. One more time we are sorry that we could not meet your high expectations. With best wishes,

Low quality hotel in the middle of low quality destination, its Odessos. There is only 2 things which is possitive. Staff and food.
Rest of all is far below average.
AirCondition is not working, or working very bad, so during the day in the lobby, or dinning room, or your hotel room is 25 degrees and more.
Lifts - if you want use lift from the ground to 6th floor, prepare yourself for 15+ minutes of waiting
Swimming pool - even the hotel saying its “familly friendly” hotel, you cannot jump, run or have any fun around the water. You can walk, swim and be quit like in the grave.
Hotel has no own Beach, so everyday you HAVE TO pay 20€ for rent of one umbrella and 2 beds. There is no possibility to find alternativně, becouse its PROHIBITED to not use it….. Like in feel cominism
Everything is hotel is under one motto. PROFIT is the first! So even for 10’ of parking as a guest, you will pay 10€, sometimes you feel that even say “hello” is not free…
Cleaning the room and fresh tovels is not common, if you want clean everyday, you have to “fight” for it. Or pay of course.

I strongly do not recommend this hotel. There are many hotels in Golden Sands, at least with a better location.

If your room is on the 4th, 5th or 6th floor, you will hate this hotel because of the elevator. I have never seen such a stupid system. It stops every time someone outside calls it. For example, if you entered it on the 1st floor and wanna go to the 5th floor, but someone from the -2nd floor calls it - the elevator will go down to catch that person, and only then will you all go to the 5th floor. But if someone calls it again, you will stop again. And again. And again. Even if the elevator is full. Also, one of the elevators broke down by the middle of the vacation, and all 100+ people rode the remaining one elevator...

The food was pretty monotonous, especially in the morning.

The cleanliness could have been better. Because of the stupid elevator, sometimes we would go down from the 5th floor to the 1st floor and vice versa and noticed that the stairwell was very dirty and not washed once in a whole week.

There is some entertainment such as animation, playground, water slide by the pool but that is only for kids. Adults will be bored the whole time when it is too hot to go to the beach.

Of the good stuff, the bar has some tasty cocktails and hot chocolate.

During my recent hotel stay, I was extremely disappointed with the overall condition of the establishment. The bathroom was particularly appalling, as it was plagued with black mold and fungus. It was not only an unsightly sight, but also a health hazard. To make matters worse, the spa area also had traces of the same mold, which made it impossible to enjoy any relaxation or rejuvenation.

The state of disrepair extended beyond the bathroom. Rotted moldings could be found throughout the hotel, giving off a musty and unpleasant odor. It was clear that proper maintenance and upkeep were sorely lacking. The bathroom itself was falling apart, with broken fixtures and a toilet seat that was completely shattered. It was incredibly uncomfortable and unhygienic to use.

Cleanliness was another major issue at this hotel. In addition to the mold problem, the overall level of cleanliness was subpar. The rooms, common areas, and dining facilities were all visibly dirty, indicating a lack of attention to cleanliness and hygiene. It was disheartening to see such negligence in a place that should prioritize the comfort and well-being of its guests.

Moving on to the dining experience, the food was a major disappointment. It was consistently dry and seemed to have been overcooked. The lack of refilling of the food thats empty was annoying. It was evident that the hotel's staff lacked the necessary skills and attention to detail to provide a satisfactory dining experience.

Lastly, the customer service left much to be desired. With the exception of a few friendly bartenders and receptionists, the majority of the staff seemed disinterested and indifferent towards the guests' needs. This lack of attentiveness and professionalism was disappointing, as it significantly impacted the overall experience of staying at the hotel.

In conclusion, my stay at this hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. From the widespread presence of black mold to the deteriorating state of the bathroom, every aspect of the hotel's facilities fell short of even the most basic standards. The poor quality of the food and the lackluster customer service only added to the already disappointing experience. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel unless significant improvements are made.

I’ve rated 2 stars overall although some parts were better .
The biggest issue for us was that the 8 of us girls had booked twin rooms in the hotel . What we actually got was 4 strange apartments ( every single one was different , and a little tired , NOT the well presented , bright hotel rooms that we booked) . They were in a separate part , adjoined to the hotel . It seems the rest were owned or rented apartments , and several times doors were flung open ( at one point to show a man on his pants !!) where residents came out and told us off or making noise as we came out of the lift ( at 9am and there were only 4 of us chatting !!)
The rooms had double beds and not twins, and ours was inhabitable as there was a birds nest above the balcony door and the balcony was covered in droppings . After much fuss they moved us to another room, actually one we had booked in the main hotel . That was more the standard we had expected but it meant we were miles from the rest of the group .
I feel the English are non important at this hotel as not the main nationality ,& so we are shoved in the annexe called Aquamarine.
The pluses - good location for bars, shops & restaurants .
The food was fine & we found something to eat every day.
The best bit was the smaller, quiet pool that you have to leave the hotel & walk up to. No fighting for sun beds, no towel reserving at 5am ( mad) and the bar to yourself - our lovely bar man Alexander was a superstar , great drinks, service with a smile & made our break,
Wouldn’t return due to being treated like second class citizens & not getting the rooms we booked.

I was there in September. I really recomended this hotel, it was nice. Firstly, I shocked about food, it was really tasty. We could try something new every day, wide selection of meat, pasta, sides, salads and fresh and hot pizza from oven. Ice cream was delicious, too. Room was clean, but sometimes housekeepers clean then not exactly (one day ran out of toilet paper) after the high season you always have a sunbed free. Pool was nice, but for me a little cold :) Drinks and beverage was ok, a good choosen colourfuly drinks and softs. Minus was lifts, sometimes I must wait a 5/10 minutes. Indoor swimming pool and wellness centre was good, too.
If you looking for a really good hotel in Bulgaria, that's it. Price is really encourage and reliable. For not undemanding tourist!

I spent there amazing week with my friend! This stay wouldn't be as enjoyable if it weren't for the people we met there and the incredible stuff!! I've never met such great animators with whom I would spend so much time and actually they made the trip so successful. The hotel has a great location as it is close to both the beach and bars and clubs. The rooms are large and spacious, the restaurant is open even at night which is a great option. I would definitely go back and recommend!
