Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We booked the concept room and our room was at the 8th floor with amazing sea view. The room had 2 beds and 1 couch big enough for 1 adult person, but our kid slept there. Daily cleaning and restocking of mini bar (2 bottles of water, 2 beers, 2 juice and was included in the room price). Coffee machine with 4 capsules daily restocked included. We had 2 massages included in the room price, but only I had one with hot stones. Also, 2 a la carte dinners were included, one in a Bulgarian restaurant and one at a beach restaurant. Concept rooms have a dedicated beach front, which is less crowded than the normal one. Also, from time to time, the beach bar boys come and ask if you want something from the bar, so you don't even have to make the effort to go get something to drink. We had the ultra all inclusive, so all meals, snacks and drinks were free. The restaurant has a nice selection of everything. Maybe not so many as before covid, but enough. All tables were disinfected after each person. You cannot go and serve yourself. You need to wait in line and wait to be served. Everyone wears a mask. The staff is very nice and helpful. It might seem that they are grumpy, but the restaurant is really noisy and with the masks they just cannot hear you very well. Just point at what you want :) and they will smile. The kids pool was very nice and my son was extremely happy. The hotel also has an indoor pool and an outdoor one. The spa is at the Encantado hotel next door. The parking place is 20 leva a day if you want to park in front of the hotel or 10 leva a day if you want to go a nearby parking. We parked in front of the hotel, and as it was crowded, we left the car key at the reception so they can move the car if they needed.

I was on a family holiday for 7 nights at Marea Sentido..everything was excellent starting from the room,beautiful ,clean and with modern features (the bathroom especially) Food was very good fresh everyday.the employees were always smiling and in a very good mood and that's a good point in front of other hotels. The hotel is almost in the beach and you receive clean towels everyday for the beach.you also have a beach bar from where you can get cocktails and frappe You have midnight snacks ,imported alchool drinks and one evening per week is mediterean dinnner with sea food The only negative point is the sea shore:very deep and with dangerous waves but this is not hotel's fault Grifid Marea Sentido is a very good choice if you want to stay on Bulgary's seaside

All was awesome! The rooms very big and clean. Everybody there was smiling, the food was very good. Due to the pandemic, the food is served by the staff, you cannot take it yourself. All the staff are wearing masks, there are sanitizers everywhere in the hotel and also in your room. The hotel is right next to the beach. It was the best vacation in Bulgaria until now. Congratulations to the management and the staff from the hotel! Very big thumbs up!

We’re about to head home after a pleasant week at Sentido Marea. This was our first time here. Overall we are very satisfied with our stay. A relaxing all inclusive week without any need to plan or research restaurants etc.
We were warmly welcomed at arrival, both from the reception staff and the service ambassador in the lobby. I am not good with remembering names, but you know who you are. As we arrived early our room was’nt ready but we were promtly called on the phone when it was.
Our room was clean and spacious with a beautiful view to the ocean. Towels were changed everyday even when we were given the option to hang them up on the rack to keep them for one more day.
I would somehow wish that the door/windows to the balcony was somewhat better soundproofed. This was noted one night when the waves was a bit noisier than usual.
One night we lost an item under the bed. And upon searching for it we also found it very dirty and dusty under the bed. How often does the cleaning personel vacum under the beds?
I also would appriciate more charging points or power outlets next to the bed.
The food offering in the buffet restaurant was varied and contained a lot of options and we found some favorites. However we think the lunch offering was pretty much the same as the dinner. At the lunch we missed the different spreads like salami, ham and cheese etc.
We enjoyed our dining experience in the Enoteca and the Italian restaurant at Encanto. But the food and the service at Enoteca was remarkably good. My favorite restaurant visit so far this year.
We enjoyed our time both at the pool and on the beach. We’re non-smokers and wished there would be designated areas for smoking in the pool area and on the beach. This applies also to the seating area outside the bar on the 1st Floor.
On departure day we had to leave the room by 11h. As our flight departed late in the evening we hoped there would be an option to keep the room for a couple of more hours but that was not possible. The shower facilities in the spa area provided instead was a bit too small with many persons wanting to shower at the same time. Other than that we’re glad we could spend the whole day before leaving doing what we’re done the whole week. Relaxing poolside and eating in the restaurant. Thank you for a pleasant week.

It was a last minute decision to travel to the Bulgarian seaside. This was my first time to Varna but certainly not the last one. Since the minute we arrived to the front desk we felt a warm welcome. Our room had an outstanding view and it was spotless. The beach bar, the pool bar served very nice cocktails and the staff was very polite and friendly. Boris the bartender at the pool made the best frape and drinks, plus the gentleman who is in charge of the pool is an example of professionalism of how to be in charge of a large pool area. We had our sunbeds always clean and he had a warm welcome every time we were around. The food was something else, tasty, big variety of dishes and it was an honor to meet in person the executive chef Yorgov who gave us a culinary tour to the beach restaurant. My only suggestion could be that the pizza/pasta section should have a better preparation for a quicker service during the peak hours and maybe to allow the staff to wear lighter clothes during service hours because it is too hot for jean trousers. It will be not fair at that point to mention that the restaurant manager is truly caring and he is doing his best for the best quality of service. We as a couple we travel more than 10 times per year and we saw many beautiful resorts, but what makes a hotel special it's not just the beautiful environment or the good facilities or the good food. It's about the experience and the level of hospitality, and it all made sense after our 3rd day of staying that the general manager is not there just to manage things but a great leader who cares about the staff and she is always around. I would suggest to anyone without hesitation to visit the hotel, it's truly worth it. 3 best things to try :

Grifid Hotel Marea! It is perfect for a stay with the family or just as a couple! We have stayed at this hotel 6 times in the last two years and we will do our best to come back! Starting with the reservation platform, the reception, the parking, the rooms, the restaurants, the beach and the pool, everything is superlative. The reservation can be made extremely easily directly on the website! And the offers are not to be neglected either, especially if you subscribe to the newsletter. The reception is very proactive! I don't think we ever had to wait more than a few minutes and be careful, they will never forget to greet you and smile at you! The rooms are great! I almost always stayed with a large view, only once I had a room with a park view. The sea is gorgeous! beach, waves, sunrise, sun, everything you could want from a beach vacation! The cleanliness and quality of the rooms is wow! Maybe the cosmetics in the bathroom should be diversified a bit more and maybe some sweets in the fridge, but that's ok. The a la carte restaurant is a 100% Bulgarian culinary experience. It's worth it! The main restaurant is beautiful, big, elegant and tidy! The food! Yes! The most discussed and contested food is always perfect. The menu covers all types of diets and tastes! The menu is for all family members and is also very tasty. Congratulations The beach is right in front of the hotel. You are actually staying on the beach! Quite roomy and even if sometimes there are many sunbeds reserved by desperate tourists, the staff on the beach always finds you a place and sunbeds for the whole family regardless of the time you go to the beach. This strategy should be found in other hotels as well! The bar on the beach is strong! Always beat the sun and the heat! True fighters against the forces of nature and the boundless thirst of tourists! The pools are great! Especially the place for the little ones and the very little ones, located right on the beach and next to the mini club. The little ones can spend the day together with the animation team from the miniclub and it will be perfect for the whole family. The indoor swimming pool and the wellness center surprise the most. At least out of curiosity, go down there and you will understand! Especially if you want to spend a few hours as a couple. Do I also tell you that sometimes the parking is free? Yes! May! But even if it is not, you will be directed to the large parking lot or you will be offered a parking space behind the hotel and your car will be safe.

Big thanks for the hotel for welcoming us and providing good service, hotel is nice, up to European standards, the reception is great and thankful, the woman cleaning our room was kind and doing great job. But waiter in charge was choosing to whom to say Hello to whom just to turned the head away ( bringing out food from kitchen and saing Хайде еш — eat, which I believe is rude. One out last day in morning I was passing buy in corridor suddenly hear the noise turn my back I saw cleaning staff of 3 rd floor what she told me - нима гледай тръгвайси - don’t look at me go home! In general everything is ok, but personnel looks like not happy of working here and not qualified for 4*+ hotel….

We had an amazing time there.. the best thing was the kids club/Animation team.. these people are unbelievable they are so passionate about what they do and it reflects on the way they manage the kids activities and entrainment programmes.. Ehri, Raya, Niki, Dara and Raya thanks to you our family had the perfect vacation. The main reason we would visit again is you.. you made our stay worth it.. a special thank you from the heart.. also a special thank you to the concierge lady that arranged our wedding anniversary dinner 🤩 a great person with a big heart.. And now reviewing the hotel in general: The food was good, the choices we had were vast as we booked a family room we were able to enjoy food in the hotel itsel as well as in 3 partner restaurants. In addition there were snacks and drinks available all the time with the all inclusive offer.. The rooms were big and tidy, the only issue we had was the noise as we were located in the ground floor near the elevators we could here people come and go all the time.. while we were upgraded to a leas noisy beach view room after our complaints we still could hear some noise ( but honestly less) as we were still in the same floor.. but the fact that they immediately accommodated to our needs shows alot and we were really greatful! All in all o highly recommend this place for families who wish to have good time and enjoy a true vacation! Thanks again to everyone who contributed in making pur stay comfortable:)

My family holiday at Senrido Marea hotel in Golden sand resort was incredible and beyond my expectations. We chose the hotel based on the good reviews online. The first thing that I've noticed was the personal replies from the management. I have never seen that before and for me was a sign that management was reading every customer review and cares about every opinion. Our amazing holiday has started from the cheerful receptionists, then the lovely bellboy, cleaner, managers, bar staff, chef ect. Customer service was exceptional with attention to detail and with personal attitude to each client. We've recieved an hand written invitation card for Gala dinner and I believe each room has received this too. If we are talking about the food and drinks - top quality. The food was varied and fresh, the drinks was exported and local. Every room got two sun lounges and parasol on the beach or on the pool. The beach was very clean infront of the hotel. The animation tim did a great job. We got pink theme beach party one of the nights. We have tried the A la cart restaurant - designed like traditional Bulgarian and the food was very delicious traditional Bulgarian cuisine. We also have tried the Beach restautant, located on the beach with stunning sea view and amazing food. Everything included in our Ultra All inclusive packet. I did not mention that the mini bar in the room was restocked every day with bottled still water, exported beer, Pepsi and Mirinda cans. I have no words to say how fantastic was our vacation and how thankful I am of the great team of the hotel. All of them have made me very proud that I am Bulgarian and in Bulgaria we can offer 5 star quality service. Finally, for people reading this review wish them to go and experience everything that I' ve said and many more that I did not, because It was 7 days full of joy, care, relax and happiness.

Very nice design, recently renovated hotel in a very quiet part of the Golden Sands located on their northern tip, i.e. in a completely peaceful and holiday party style of young people untouched location. Ideal for families with small children or couples of any age who want to enjoy a quiet holiday and hear the sound of the sea in the evening (by the way, I definitely recommend paying for a room with a sea view on a higher floor, it's worth it). Also, the location of the hotel is absolutely ideal in terms of distance from the sea, as the hotel is located almost on the beach, or within walking distance of about 50 meters respectively. The staff is very kind and pleasant, the hotel is clean, a rich selection of food in the form of a buffet. Children's pool with several slides also for families with children is plus. Interesting surroundings, indented coastline, possibility of trips to, for example, Varna, the water park in Albena or the Aladzha monastery. The hotel can therefore be recommended to those who do not necessarily need to lie on the beach for the entire duration of their stay and welcome the opportunity to explore the interesting surroundings. We would love to return to the place again sometime.
