We arrived after midnight greeted by a pleasant man on reception ,a snack was awaiting us if we was hungry .The room was perfect large, clean, fresh and the seaview was fantastic ,The food was plentiful some thing for everyone taste .The whole hotel is kept spotless by cleaners,The indoor pool and spa was lovely.we had a very relaxing holiday and met some really nice people .

Arriving very early (4am), we were greeted by a friendly face on reception who briefly explained all we needed to know and handed us our keys. The room was spacious and beds very comfortable. Bathroom very roomy; shower great. Water bottles provided in the room, a small bar fridge if needed. Staff throughout the hotel are polite and helpful - if they don't speak English they try to communicate (the cleaning staff are really good at this!) or find someone who can help. Nothing seems too much trouble for the all of the staff. This was an all inclusive deal and as a vegetarian, I often wonder if I will find more than just salads at mealtimes. There was plenty (and more) to chose from at every meal and always a good selection of fruit. As it was just slightly out of season, the Tokyo Resaurant was not open so can't comment on that. We made good use of the spa relaxation room, indoor pool, sauna and steam room. Only one day was it so busy that we gave it a miss. The outdoor pool area was slightly cool as there was often a N/E wind blowing, but it is possible to find a sheltered spot and sunbathe. A very short walk to the pleasant and clean beach (perhaps 2 minutes) - again, being out of season it was fairly quiet but I imagine it could get very busy. When we left (12/05/23) there was a lot of activity amongst vendors who were gearing up for the season. All in all, this was a memorable week and I would highly recommend staying here but do bear in mind the season you will visit. This is a fantastic hotel. There are many things to do. Great food, nice pools, daily activities, two buildings, pool bar, spa, gym and more. I booked two rooms for the vacation. There are big rooms and quite big ones. One of ours was big, and the other one a little bit smaller. No problem with that. Very good conditions in the rooms. Great place if you want the sea like 50m from your hotel. There are 3 restaurants in this hotel. So there are plenty of things to choose when, how much and what do you want. I don't know how this hotel is only 4 stars. I'll vote it 5 stars for sure. I had a very nice experience but there is a bad thing that happend to me during the vacation about the elevators. I fell almost 2 floors with one of them. They just diconectted from the service and it make us fell. We got lucky, because the doors weren't opening, someone called it at our floor and the doors opened so we can leave the elevator. And I saw that these were out of the service very often. Not all of them, but one for sure it was out at a day. After the experience over all, I still think that this hotel deserve more than 4 stars. Very good conditions after all.…

Stayed the hotel at end of season September 2022. Started of ok . Then downhill. One by one amenities fell away. Beach bar closed. Toilet facilities on beach closed. Felt sorry for the man who played the saxophone who walked off after playing. No thank you from entertainment team in room as they were playing cards with there friends. Same on disco night no announcements. All they done was turned the music down when people left and carried on playing cards. Denied entry to Asian restaurant when sign on reception said no bookings required. Pool bar closed no afternoon snacks Grenadine run out for cocktails .Staff instructed to make it with strawberry juice. No tomato juice for Bloody Mary. Ok we can get by but on last breakfast at hotel butter ran out. Seriously who ever owns the hotel take a look at the management. Disgraceful. Had friends at Melia Hotel near by no problems. Will pass this on social media. Please no replies see web site . Already had that at stay.…

Is the second year when I choose this hotel for my summer holiday. I stayed in a nice clean sea view room - all-inclusive services, both times. The hotel offers: - Wi-Fi access in the hotel's area - 3 main meals - snacks between the main meals - sun chairs and umbrellas by the pool - sun chairs and umbrellas in the hotel’s beach area (upon availability) - animation activities (6 x week) during the day and in the evening - Kids‘ club for children aged between 4-12 yrs - Asian and Italian thematic restaurants are available at no extra cost and with advanced booking at the hotel Services with extra fee: parking lot – 20 BGN/per car/night ( no bookings in advance available, service is available till check out time on departure date), safe deposit box in the hotel rooms, spa services. Superior place for a holiday! Excellent accommodation, brand new hotel with spacious designer room! Hygiene is top level! Few restaurants with delicious food and large range of products for every taste. Staff is very friendly and you can reserve full 24hour assistance! Best experience I ever had i Golden Sands! I have been guest of Astoria Hotel 3 times so far. The rooms are very cozy and spacious, with amazing views and I had the chance to welcome the sunrise from my bed! Daily quality cleaning, new big bed with fine linen, soft and cozy. I love that one can choose its pillow. The bathrooms are all new and huge! Rich variety of food, tasty and more than enough. It is the perfect place for vacation and business events as there are 2 small conference rooms and one multifunctional huge conference room with in-built stage. The staff is always helpful and they did go the extra mile to make the stay of our group unforgettable!

I've been to Astoria 3 times this summer! Once with friends and twice with mom. The hotel is simply my favorite from Golden Sands, the rooms are big, clean and I always had a fantastic view over the sea! The food at the Italian Restaurant is delicios and I love the fruit selection as well, many exotic options. I will sure be back next summer!
