Having stayed at this hotel over the past 2 years I would highly recommend it for its consistency in excellent comfort, high level of personals service, friendly and accommodating staff, ambience and decor, central location, high quality of food and the complimentary products and services which make it very special. Animation program was excellent. Activities for kids and adults every day. Thank you Karina you are great. I can't forget your aqua zumba and stretching as well. I would not stay at any other hotel in Golden Sands.

Hi there , I would like to say thank you to the hotel manager and the staff team. They've been very polite and helpful with checking in and out of the hotel. The rooms are significantly clean. The breakfast services are good in general. Swimming pool is nice and clean , I would definitely recommend families with kids, really good and tasty food that's available at anytime in the restaurant's. For 4 Star luxury this has to be the hotel for you. We enjoyed a Seа view room with balcony and the furnishings, fabrics and amenities really did make you feel like a star. The atmosphere is unlike anywhere else and the staff are faultless. Elena - entertainment is great. She know how to work with kids. Hope to see you next year

At the end of our visit when we had to return in the cards and had already paid for everything, they demanded more money and came up with nonsense reasons and said we hadn’t even paid for an entire person even though we had. We had texts to prove it and they had set up beds for all of us and prepared everything for 3 people, yet said we only payed for 2 and that they had no idea we were 3 people. We paid for 2 adults and one under 18. They kept changing their minds and reasons and kept us at the hotel until we paid 200 Bulgarian extra. They didn’t call a taxi until the very last moment because they knew we were pressured on time regarding our flight. Also a lot of the food tasted like dog food and they had seagulls everywhere that would steal food, fly in peoples faces and even ruined a lamp. Our lights, shower head and toiletseats were broken and we told the reception to fix it several times and they kept stretching it and wouldn’t fix it. We ran out of toilet paper and soap and they also didn’t give us any of that even though we asked several times. They didn’t have enough cards for all of us so we got stuck outside our room many times and housekeeping never came and cleaned our room. The pool and outside areas reeked of sewer most the time and the floor was sticky and slippery at the same time. The fitness room was sweaty and moist and had no ventilation or air condition even though we asked every day for them to turn it on. The water in the pool had a good temperature though.

The pool was a nice temperature, but that's about all the nice things I had to say about this hotel. Their facilities were not maintained; gym had dysfunctional ventilation (worked out in what felt like 30 degrees), the pool area reeked of sewage sludge, toilets and sanitary were often dirty and/or without toilet paper, and the food was less than mediocre at best with virtually the same food being served every single day. Not to mention the outside eating area was plagued by seagulls constantly visiting unmanned tables and eating from dishes and plates. When speaking with the reception about the problems we experienced such as ventilation in the gym and broken lightbulbs in our room, they either dismissed our requests or outright claimed they were unable to help. We had to go out of our way simply to get soap and toilet paper for our room because they did not clean our room and resupply us with everyday items during our stay. To top it off at the day of the checking out the reception surprised us with an extra bill for one extra person, claiming that we only had booked for 2 out of 3 people total. Which is humorous considering they had deliberately prepared for 3 people at our arrival, proving they were indeed aware we booked for 3 people. We suspect this had to do with some administrative issues between the hotel and the booking platform we used (Bookingdotcom). But nevertheless we had to bite the bullet and pay an unnecessary 200 BGN extra as we had to get to the airport - with quite frankly a taxi that the hotel ordered too late despite us having the day before requested them to order the taxi.

The hotel is old, furnituri is old too, the air conditioner is not working, only blowing air but not cold. We had to sleep with door open at the balcony, the mini fridge made the water cold after 14 hours, toilet not flashing properly. I hurt my foot twice on the bed edge, some nails were coming out. No cleaning was made on a 7 night stay, they only took the trash out and changed 1 towel. Food was not enough when something was finished it took forever to replace with another tray with the same food, fruits were not enough, if you come early at lunch or dinner you have to wait on a que and if you come later you have nothing to eat. There was an argue at the grill because the wait was very long. The beach is not too far but there is no toilet (only ecological) or shower to rinse sand off, or a bar. We liked the pool, pool bar, disco and mini disco, the icecream and the fact that you can always find a sunbed to sit on at the pool and at the beach. Not sure why people rate 5 star!

They put us in the wrong room and refused to change it, the bartenders only pour it into inclined dishes if you leave a tip, otherwise drink from plastic, to the sea 30 minutes no less, supposedly there is a transfer but it doesn’t take you to the beach, but only to the road, and from there it’s still a 15-minute walk!!! very disappointed with this hotel!!! the rooms they gave us were rubbish!!! the air conditioning doesn’t work, the hairdryer doesn’t work either !in short complete trash!vacation ruined!!!

The staff is very unpleasant and unhelpful. Food without salt and spices. There is also a poor selection of dishes. You have to wait in long lines for food. And when waiting in line and asking the staff what kind of meat they were cooking, they answered that they didn't know. Lack of forks at lunch and dinner time. Constant mess on the tables when eating on the terrace. It was necessary to clean the tables with dirty dishes by ourselves more than once. The room is cleaned every 4 days!!! The room was dirty and hot. The air conditioner was old, both in the room and in the whole hotel, it was stuffy. Bartenders don't know how to make cocktails, they mix any drinks. The hotel saves so much that it even cuts straws in half. We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. We will definitely not be back and DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. If you have traveled in Turkey or Egypt - do not expect something similar here.

We are actually staying in Apollo spa resort. About the hotel are good and bad facts. The good aspects are by far the quietness, the diverse and tasty food and the clean and quite spacious beach, with fine sand and the transport from the hotel to the beach is by train. The bad parts are: the parking of the hotel which is insufficient for the number of tourists staying, we had to park the car in a private parking lot 1.5 km away, the cleaning and the changing of towels which don't really happen (the staff's visit is reduced to filling the minibar and...that's it) and at the reception for check-in one of the employees ( Gabi) had an attitude as if she had put us up in the hotel at her own expense, even though we arrived at 4:00 p.m.
