We spent here the last week of August. Two families, each with 2 young kids (ages 1 to 4). Our double rooms were big enough, clean, and the balconies more than generous in space, with a nice view. The hotel Manager was kind to provide us an extra bed and a crib, free of charge. The pool was great, too bad that was the only fun facility for kids. The things we were not so happy about were the food, the communication with the staff (because of language bareer) and the location of the resort. The food was repetitive, the kids didn't appreciate that. Except for the Manager, nobody seems to know English or any other language except Bulgarian (we tried also Spanish, French, German and Hungarian 😁). The hotel is located on a hill and the shortest way to get to the beach is through the forest, going down some old narrow stone stairs. This is no picnic when having to carry a stroller, 2 kids, tons of towels, sun protection creams, beach tent and all other items you always carry as a parent in case if... I'm sure parents know what I mean :) Overall we had a nice experience, but next time we will choose the hotel more carefully.

Pros: - Good food with an acceptable variety. - Pool and reception are pretty well maintained. - Cheap. Cons: - Housekeeping changes towels, soap/shampoo/toilet paper every 3 days or so, we were a couple and got only 1 of our 2 towers changed and only after 3 days. - Not that close to the beach, if you look at the map it might look like 300m but to actually reach the beach you have to walk ~1.5km. - Small issues with false advertising, we were promised a flatscreen tv and WIFI in the room but none of these were true.

We (me and my girlfriend) stayed there 6 nights, for a 3* hotel is ok, not great, nothing special. Very cheap and in the end you get what you pay. Rooms were clean but the lights were broken, in the bathroom was not a specific cabin for shower, you could stay on the toiled and take a shower, which is not quite ok, because the floor in the bath was always wet. All inclusive stuff, the drinks were very bad, only beer I enjoyed because it was cold but no too tasty. Food, was not so different day by day and with a lot of traditional bulgarian spices, which I don't like. The staff 50% english speakers... There is a parking lot, very safe, but you must pay per day 10 leva. It is a long way to the beach, but from my side it was good some walk in the morning, in order to keep the fats away :) There is also a shortpath in the back of the hotel going down on some stairs and you can shorten with 1,5 km your way to the center of the Golden Sands The pool was ok, clean and also a lot of space to swim, but not to deep 1.5/1.6 meters, no music at the pool. In the end, for a 3* hotel and for the prices for 6 nights offer is not bad neither good.

My husband and I stayed there for a week. I did not have any sophisticated expectations while booking a three star hotel but the place really shocked me. As much as I cannot complain about the quality of sleep (adequate 3 star room), the surroundings: the pool and the park are basically dirty! nobody (I guess) has ever raked the leaves around so each time the wind blew, it all ended up in the pool. The green carpet by the pool was never cleaned too. The food was nowhere near tasty and almost the same day by day. Everything smelled same. The other thing was the change of towels. There was an information that the towels will be changed if they are left on the floor (which we did) but on our return to the room they were still on the floor. I went to the reception to inquire and was told that the towels are changed every three days. I could go on but will put a full stop here.
