Detailed Reviews
The hotel is not really 4 stars, I would rather give it only 3.5 stars. the location is quite far from the beach, we used to walk there for about 20 minutes. We stayed in a family room with a large double bed and 2 sofa beds. The furniture is a bit old and the walls a bit dirty. The 6 nights we stayed there, our towels were changed only once, the bed linen was not. Cleanliness is not a strong point, it should be insisted more, especially in the bathrooms, both in the room and those at the reception, restaurant and pool. The water in the pool was not very clean, it had a lot of sand and dry leaves in it. Also, the yard and the stairs leading to the yard were quite dirty. The food was good, tasty, but it consisted only of cooked dishes, we did not have grilled meat or fish on any day. Which for us was a minus. Also, there is no bottled water, only by the glass from the dispenser and you have to ask for the bartender during the day. The animators were nice and they tried to do their job as well as possible. Bartenders were so-so, seemed a bit tired and the treatment was tipped or not. Instead, the waiters were very operative, immediately picking up the empty plates and cleaning the tables. Parking quite expensive 20BGN per day and there were not even parking spaces, but the space in front of the hotel. The time interval for lunch and dinner seemed quite short to us, I think it could be extended by at least 1 hour each. Overall, it was a pleasant vacation that we enjoyed.

We just came back today, one day earlier especially because of food. Excepting salads and pancakes, everything was tasteless and extremely cheap incredients. Not even a steak in 7 days. For children was horrible...my daughter ate 7 days pancackes and bread with butter at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, sancks were the same for 7 days.
The good part was the animation team. Very nice and dedicated guys.
Pool was clean and all pool area was nice, with enough chairs.
Room was big enough, bed confortable, cleaning every day. Wi fi was terrible.
All stuff was friendly and helpfull.
Quite long distance to beach.
Conclusion: we will not come back :(

Fabulous time at this hotel. George from the animation team was superb... Waterpolo was amazing fun... Great with the Children and very accomadating to our family and knew us all by name. He worked tirelessly to keep us entertained and engaged throughout our stay. We started our visit out of season and it was lovely and peaceful. Through out the visit it got busier which was great. The food was lovely especially the pancakes! We loved the variety. Everyone was helpful and the hotel is spotlessly clean! Would love for there to be more lifts as we had a buggy and there's quite a few stairs. Very eager to clear plates and the cocktails on all inclusive ( green band) need updating and to be more flavourful as Can often be overpowered by spirit measument. Overall a fantastic visit and we would be back.

We stayed here 7 nights. I really don’t need a luxury holiday, and I don’t scold everything, but this hotel doesn’t see us anymore (44 and 45 years). Likewise, we will not recommend it. Rooms and facilities relatively clean. The employees are all extremely listless and lazy - except for some young ladies in the service. There's a smile or a word from time to time. The food looks delicious at first glance. You have to try everything, with a little luck you will find something to use against your hunger. Every day the same, muddied, absolutely tasteless and sometimes disgusting. Once I asked the waiter to replace the sausage plate, because the sausage (only the same one every day) was completely white mold!!! Salad leaves wrinkled. The only thing that was good was the salad dressing and freshly prepared fried eggs and the coffee. As soon as you get off the elevator, the hotel corridor is pitch dark, at some point with a bit of luck a motion detector goes on somewhere. The pool water is freezing! Next to the guests, janitors work around the pool every day and work on loungers, tables and everything with the steam jet. No sign of peace. We were only picked up at 6pm to the airport, book for 5 hours rooms, we would have paid 60 euros! You only want to take a short shower before picking up, but only in the indoor pool is a single completely dirty shower available!

As we arrive at hotel Kristal it is not possible to check in, we must therefore wait several hours to get our hotel room. As we get our deluxe room, there's not much deluxe over it. We have a room with yellow sheets, an A/C that doesn’t work and a shower where 3 drops of cold water comes out, but if you want to be cooked like a shrimp when you go to bath there are plenty of possibilities for it, as their hot water works impeccably. We inform the reception about this and get our sheets changed immediately, and they also send a technician up to the room to fix the A/C and the water pressure in the shower, however with little problems as their English skills are non-existent. After a few hours we get thumps-up by the technician who says everything is fixed. But when we get into the room it still doesn’t work, and we take hold of the reception again and the same technicians now crawl to the cross and say that the RIGHTY technicians have free that day, and only meet in the day after. We slept one night without A/C and you only do it once. So since we are not offered a new room where the basic things work, we ask for a new room and we get that. However, it troubles them to know we only live 2 and not 3 people in the room, and we have got an extra bedroom plus a room that was not cleaned with sand on the floor, old towels and an empty fanta bottle on the balcony.
The all-inclusive food was very poor, however the breakfast and coffee were excellent. There were too few sunbeds for everyone, and although there are written rules that you cannot book them with towels the day before, it is not enforced by the staff.
The staff find it difficult to smile and be welcoming, it seems very sad to look at one whole day at the pool. Bad and loud music on repeat. Nice beer and good gin-tonic.

Pension rotten in the image of Bulgarian behaviour. The room was dirty, the buffet infamous and what about the neighborhood... aggressive people, garbage and Chinese stuff everywhere. Go your way! Inn staff seem unhappy... they don't say hello or goodbye for that matter. The pool closed at 6 pm and the buffet at 8:30 pm might as well tell you it's bullshit. The blonde woman who is Reservation Manager is hypercritical and as soon as you arrive you understand or you set foot! I don't even understand how Luxair offers this type of property in their catalog

We arrived very late at night, there was no food ( some hotels keep sandwiches and bits for late arrivals) we were signed in quite quickly , it is quite a Dated Hotel we were on the 4 th floor and our room was big but dated furniture, in saying that the bed was very comfy. We had a view of the gardens and trees and could just see the sea. Nice big shower room and toilet but it looked like a prison cell it was like concrete on walls and floor and painted a dark Grey. There was a lot of dust on furniture. The restaurant was ok but the food was a bit mixed there was always pork beef chicken and different potatoes with different mixes in them chips were always on offer ,there was wasabi mash ( not for us) the breakfast was not to our taste as it was all spiced there was chopped up bits of bacon frankfurters black beans , the scrambled egg was milky and seemed like it had hard boiled egg in it . We managed to get fried egg on toast every morning. The salad is ok but not often meat we liked ( non spicy) there was 8 bowls of various olives. The staff worked hard and cleared plates away quickly but they hardly ever smiled and never ever spoke one evening two waitresses stood at door to welcome people but even though we smiled at them they never smiled or spoke.. it was very weird . Not very welcoming at all. The drinks were nice and pool looked beautiful they were always cleaning sunbeds and area round pool. We were the only English people in the hotel for a few days and it was hard to ask for directions but we did find a few people who spoke English. It was end of season there wasn’t any entertainment in the evenings though we did see a chap with an outfit with ears think he may have been part of kids entertainment but we never saw anything going on . We did get a bus to Varna it was only 2 lev each Varna is really nice lovely day out
i would suggest if you have mobility issues you don’t go here as theres a good few steps and hilly down to front ( which was lovely) pavements are dangerous trip hazards walk on the roads. The beach and prom was great A sandy beach . Though the waves can get very rough . Lots of little beach shops all along a couple of restaurants and bars. We did eat out one evening in a restaurant on the way from hotel to beach at a restaurant called the Lava stone .. my husband had the best steak he has ever had it was tender no gristle and huge and cooked to perfection. We had a nice holiday and would go back but not to this hotel

The room was broken, and we found 5 dead insects lying around, it was dustweb all over the bathroom and around the table.
The door moldings was ripped off and broken and some was glued to the door as an atemt to fix it.
The shower had only cold water for 3/7 days we where staying, and the food was terrible as well.
The most disturbing thing was that even all those things, you can’t complain about it becouse the people in the reseption can’t speak more than 5 words in english, and was far to busy looking to their phones. They do not offer any discount or anything to make up for it, but then again, they cant speak english here.
BUT! The show and animation teams was awesome, and did a really great job!
But sadly all things in total makes it terrible! We will never visit this hotel again, and strongly recomend other resorts!

This is an older family hotel that probably saw its glory days in the late 90s. It is relatively clean and totally okay but helped as far away a lovely place to spend a little holiday week.
Most of it is all right. Staff are friendly and attentive.
The poles are good and there seems to be enough sunbeds. No umbrellas and now that it's up to 35 degrees you would have needed them.
Then comes the negative: the food is total disaster, they have not discovered neither salt nor pepper, everything is drowned in fat, all buffets contain exactly the same, the coffee is poor, the air conditioning works only slightly at the highest level.
The laundry staff have their smoking space in the stairs right at our front door. The staircase leads straight down the street and is without gate so anyone can go straight into the building.....
The noise level in the dining room and outside the pool is extremely high.

The hotel doesn't worth 4 stars. The room was dirty, they didn't change the towels or the bedding and the toilet didn't fonction well. Also the hotel didn't have a parking, they send you to park at 200m from the hotel in an undevelopped place(on a hill) with earth on the ground, stones and broken glass.
The positive part was the restaurant which has a dedicated manager.
The staff from the reception was rude and unprofessional.

Seating everywhere overlooking the pool and there are bits that are in the shade all day
Hi , sorry but I'm unable to answer your questions, I was there late September the weather was ok hot and a couple days of rain. The indoor pool I guess is heated and should be open, mind you you might have to pay extra to use it like sauna or jacuzzi! Those are extras not part of the all inclusive.
The hotel is great clean and close to the beach, good luck with the bar staff, they are or were horrible unless they have trained them properly. Enjoy
Dear Kerrey,
