Good impression about the reception personnel who are very kind and willing to help at any time and they are doing a good job . Is ieasy to comunicate with them and you will be served . You need to ask for anything you feel is missing : cleaning the room, replacing the towels , asking for a spoon in the dinning the room but they are going to do it . Very good that they have a jacuzzi and a small pool with different deepness of water . Good thaT they have a small playong ground for the kids but is should be extended and they should have an entertainer for them. We had 2 small kids and we had to run everyday after them because no one was entertaining them . Parking in front of the hotel for 20 BGN per day (10 EUR) . Not so good impression of the rooms and the food . The room might feel like is under 2 stars and sometimes have smells due to the sewage . The dinning rooms can be improved in terms of being more friendly ( you feel like in the 80`s in terms of the design but if the personnel is kind ) . The food is enough and the time frames of the breakfast , lunch and dinner are enough long to satisfy a long range of people good but they are missing the diversity . The bar of the pool and the one in the hotel are looking bad . The drinks ( coffee, juice , water etc) are served from the automatic machines and they taste either too sweet or strange . The drinks outside of the dinning room are served in plastic glasses that are very small and can get easly spilled . The view is nice and close to the beach . If someone needs a less crouded beach they should go to Panorama beach ( 10 min with the car to Balcic) .

We had a great time here although there was a few blips at first. The blips we had was when we arrived, our room bins hadn't been emptied, but were done so immediately after we informed reception. The cleaning of the rooms seems to be a bit erratic and we nearly ran out of toilet paper, but this was easily sorted by asking the cleaners for some. We thought the facilities were great ie the gym right opposite the dining room, and the sauna and steam room right opposite the swimming pool. Getting a sunbed was never a problem, the staff were generous with the drinks on the all- inclusive deal, and also very friendly. Generally the food is good, especially the fresh fruit, vegetables and the pork and lamb dishes, as well as the white cheese, pastries and rye bread at breakfast time. A nice final touch was when the management informed us we could keep our room till we wanted to leave as a complimentary gesture, which made a great difference. We'd definitely return.

For sure, not a 4 stars hotel, but a pretty decent one. Strong points - not faraway from beach, free parking, free wi-fi (not very good, by romanian standards), pretty good food, generally nice and helpfull staff (with some exceptions). Weack points - the maids are not very present at duty, food not so diversified, the reception bar need urgent upgrade, the furniture in the rooms is outdated.

In this review I'd like to express the pleasant experience I had in this hotel. To begin with, this is one of the few hotels in Golden Sands where a person could get such good value for the money. Parking is free of charge and secured for guests of the hotel. The staff is very nice and friendly, and always ready to help with the best they can. There is a variety of food in the restaurant and I was very happy to notice that they tend to keep the menu diverse - even a week later the meals differed from the previous week. What is more, the quality was excellent. The rooms were kept clean and tidy during the whole stay. Excellent service. In addition to that, higher floor rooms offer a breath-taking view of the sea and Golden Sands. Speaking of which, the beach is no more than 2 minutes away on foot. However if you are not fan of sand going anywhere around your body, there is a swimming pool at the hotel which is perfectly suitable for children too. Lifeguard can keep track on the kids, while you're taking the advantage of that all inclusive package to have some free shots at the pool bar. And in case you'd like some alone time with your soulmate, there is a pool table by reception where you could send the kids to have fun... again, free of charge! I stayed in this hotel as a solo traveler for 5 nights and 6 days in August of this year and enjoyed every day! Starting on the first day when my bus arrived before check in time, I was allowed to leave my suitcases in a secure room and got to enjoy the amenities even before checking in. Once I checked in, I really liked the room: the bed was nice and the furniture was fine, even though some people on here said that it was old and awful, that was not the case with what I have seen. The bathroom was clean, there was soap and shampoo available. The best part was that the room had a balcony with a sea view, a bit far away but still an enjoyable view. Because of tre way the hotel was built, it is always cold and cozy there even on a hot August day. The food was great: the vegetables and fruits were very fresh, the food was well cooked, I would feel full after every meal. The sea is a short walk and quite clean, and both pools in the hotel are enjoyable, and same for the sauna. All the staff was spectacular: I would always see waiters clean up the empty plates from the tables before one could even ask them to do so, there was always someone cleaning the hotel premises. It felt nice to stay in such a hotel. Big thanks to the entire team working at the hotel, they made my vacation better. I'd like to separately thank Tatiana who works at the reception. She is extremely nice and helpful and made my stay even better! I will be coming back to this hotel in the future and will recommend it to everyone as well as families with kids. 10/10

Tourist service at a very high level. Regarding the balance between price and quality, quality is important at a very reasonable price. The staff is helpful with a smile and good reception. The furnishing of the room is excellent, presence of cold and hot water, regular cleaning, regular change of sheets. The canteen has a very rich and diversified menu with a rich presence of meat of all kinds, vegetables and fruits with all meals. The swimming pool and the bar have a high level of services.

Stayed in this hotel for a week. Everything was very good. We liked the food. It was delicious and quite varied. Rooms were cleaned frequently and well, towels changed and shower gel and shampoo provided as well. Often visited the pool and a couple of times the jacuzzi. I liked it very much and was pleased with the cleanliness. The room was good on the 9th floor. There was everything you need for a comfortable stay. The view is also very beautiful from the terrace. Reception workers are very nice. Helped in all matters, including with the transfer. The hotel itself is in a very good location. In the vicinity there is everything you need: restaurants, bars, supermarkets. The sea is also very close. The hotel itself also has a fitness, playground, terrace, sauna, there is something to do. Poor quality of everything! Starting with check in, the room wasn't clean, they gave us another room with bad smell in bathroom. After waiting 2 hours, we got the same dirty room. Food is miserable and poor, we didn't came for food, but if it was paid, we expect at reasonable and variety menu. Cleaning in the room is not existing, we went almost everyday to reception to ask for toilet paper :)). Very bad experience never come back to Golden Sands!!!

Me and my family had a stay booked in August at this hotel. I will be honest from the get go - the hotel claims to be a 4 Star place, but it's really just a high grade 3 star establishment, and I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but it is a bit misleading.
The Hotel lacks in atmosphere and feel, but it's very nice and clean, no issues with hygiene. The staff is really-really nice, not everyone spoke good English, but communication is not impeded, and they were really helpful. I really hope their work is well appreciated and rewarded.
The outside and indoors pools were really nice and clean as well, although the water was a bit cold at first, but still enjoyable. The poolside bar was really clean, and whenever there was a crowd there, the manager/owner would help out so everyone got what they wanted in due time.
The rooms are a bit small, there's not a lot of space for your belongings, but if you plan on spending most of your time on the seaside or touring the city, then it won't bother you, like it didn't bother us. The cleaner ladies are sweet and really helpful, whenever we needed help, they were there for us.
The all-inclusive food options were a bit limited, there were about 12 types each time they served food, including salads, meats, pasta, vegan food, french fries, soups, sometimes they would serve special dishes as well. The limitation on food variety is really acceptable though, so you don't have to worry about not having anything to eat. The only issue I can think of is that the food runs out quickly, so you might have to wait until they replenish the food that ran out.
There are other amenities as well, but sadly I did not try them out, such as a pool table, football table, a sauna, and maybe others that don't come to mind.
We had a little accident with one of the elevators, it got stuck right before it could rise to the second floor; but the engineers got us out quickly, and the staff did an amazing service recovery, so the overall experience was not damaged. Nice job guys.
Overall, a really great experience, the Hotel serves as a great place to stay at if you plan to enjoy the city and the seaside.

We stay here once a year at least for 2-3 weeks. Staff is always friendly. Very clean. Have never had a bad experience and it’s right next to the beach. This is a beautiful hotel! It’s clean and has a lot of comfort items to make you feel at home. Beautiful atmosphere inside and outside around that part. The best stay ever. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. I hope my answer does not come in too late. But at least will give information for the others interested. Hereby, I will list the amenities, which guest could use free of charge and may be seen as an entertainment depending on the choice.
The hotel has two swimming pools, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and fitness.
There is also pool table(biliard), air-hockey and mini-football, as well as table tennis, as games on site that could be played.
We also have a selection of books on site for the guest to enjoy whilst on their holiday. The bar is open from 10:30-22:00h.
For those who are having children- both swimming pools have kids sections and there is also a playground for them to play.
Golden Sands is part of a National Park, so there are some nice trails to walk around. In addition, as already said, by renting a car or hiring a taxi, you could see the nearby sightseeings like Kaliakra Cape and Balchik.
Varna City is only 15min drive and it is worth the visit too.
