We just returned from a family vacation in Havana hotel. It is a very nice hotel in Varna. The price is fair and the service is great and the hotel is very clean.
There is also a casino in the hotel. Another great thing about it is the fact that it's close to the beach. There is a 10 min walk but its ok.
Because it isnt the season yet we couldn't enjoy sitting in the pools or going to the beach (it wasn't hot enough). We were a little dissapointed that the spa was closed. There was a nice playground for kids near the pool area and we took them there once but we had nothing to do with them when it rained. The food isn't great but it's ok most of the time. We enjoyed the breakfast and the kids liked the pasta at dinner.

if luxery is not important for you havana is good hotel for families and all day your children can eat food and fruit and ice cream and very good break fast.every day you can walk for 20 minutes to the beach among the nice smal shops with good prices. dont compare it with turkey hotels because in the beach way we saw that other hotels are the same and we were satisfy with this specially our daghter 12 years old. hotel bar served cold water and every cold or hot drink that you want but no natural juice.you can go to aqua police park with walk. if you dont want to pay a lot havana is good hotel for you with good foods all day.

Stayed here for a week with my family. We absolutely loved it! The hotel is very clean and close to the beach, the food is nice and the staff is very polite and helpful. Yanko, from the bar, was especially very funny and always brought a smile on our faces. We would have loved to try the spa as well, but unfortunately, because of the pandemic, that wasn't possible. We might return next summer! :)

If I could give a minus rate it would be -10 (minus ten) and here are my reasons:
1) Hotel rooms are cheap and ants are crawling all over the showers, even in 7th floor where I was staying
2) There are double 2.5 person elevators (max of 250kg per elevator) which always crowded (especially in "food time" and in "check in/out") so you find yourself climbing with family all 13 floors since there is a long waiting list on elevators (and elevator will stop every floor since everybody wants to go up/down)
3) Food is horrible - when I say horibble I mean that they use same food for breakfast/lunch/dinner...no change in food, meat or chicken is awfull and barely can be eaten, salads are vegetables cut to 4 giant parts...cheese is bad and the entire food is tasteless...my kids were eating only cornflakes, soup, ice cream and eags - so much fats - not healthy (and thats an "all includes hotel"
4) Our passports were held by hotel in check in all the period of the week of our staying - that is because in checkout the clerk dispatch the cleaning lady to verify that towels are not missing !!! (and you cant get extra towels...loosing them will cost you up to 12$....unbelievable)
5) There is a change clerks (very nice girls) but the rates are low (1.45 lb per 1 dollar while highest rate was in 25 min travel to "grand hotel" which gave us 1.60lb per 1 dollar)
6) Drinking coffee,chocolate,orange/coke is doen by single bar person - so you need to wait for your bloody orange in the morning instead of heaving a normal coffe/cold beverage machines availble to everyone....and coffee sucks....
7) These guys dont have service attitude...its more like they do to you favours and most time they look grumpy and ignoring you (excluding one nice girl in the helpdesk and the young boy who clean the tables which I gave him a generous tip for that :-))
8) There is no children considerations, no pool activity (thoug the pool is nice) and no activity at all for them...just some lousy casino waisted show to try to drag peple to the pathetic casino floor

My conclusions:
Bulgaria is a very poor country with poor people so the 3 months (June-August) are the months were they do anything to take out your money for anything in the highest prices (even double so I advise you:
a) Dont visit there with family as this is not a place for them, the kids will get bored
b) Exchange dollars to bulgarian Lira (lib) in the grand canyon and do shoppings of everything you need in the minus 1 floor (there is a giant shopping floor with the cheapest prices in whole Varna
c) Take taxi far from hotel, the one in the hotel will take double the price...this also goes for arranged trip with jeeps or other...close to hotel will cost you more and more...
d) Going to the beach will cost you in bed+umbrella (each is 6$)
e) The hotel rooms are pointing to the beach (East) where the Sun rise in approximately 5:00am - so sun really goes through the black curtains and causes you to wake up early....
f) Food is awfull....you will get extra weight since the only eaten stuff are eggs, breads, ice cream - watch your figure (I've added 2 extra kilos)

Hope this was helpfull to you guys, think again before going to Bulgaria and much more to Havana hotel, I'm sorry for going there every minute.

Why this hotel's ranking is 91? It must be 103 of 104, because I never stayed in so bad hotel and can not even imagine a hotel worse that this one was. Swimming pool full of dead insects, hardly working wi-fi (three day of five of our stay it didn't work at all), wet floor in bathroom because of short shower curtains, hardly working jakuzi. The personell, especially of restourant, was inhospitable, fulfilling their duties maybe according to instructions but not to guests satisfaction. Leaving the hotel we were too early for breakfast, so they gave us take away brakfast: two slices of bread, a thin slice of cheeses, a cucumber and an apple. I think this breakfast may be called as a visit card of this hotel

average quality.
cleanliness was less than average
food quality, so so. there is always something. the worst thing was bread in the breakfast.you feel isnt at all fresh.
location is good, near night life and far from the noise.
Im not sure to recommend.

first of all when we got there, i asked if all the rooms have balcony, and the. receptionist said of course, they all do! then we received 3 rooms without balcony. when we asked why they said. that in the reservation was not specified, and i asked if the rooms with balconies are more expensive but they are not. So i asked again for rooms with balcony and they lied the hotel was full, but in the same time on their screen i saw the occupation level of the hotel(as same as in the cinema) and it was half empty. finnally after arguing with some manager and after a representant of our travel agency called we got only 2rooms with balcony...although they had empty rooms....and we have the suspicion that they did dot only because we were romanians...maybe?
The food was very poor, the same every day...the lobby bar was closed at 9-9.30 and after that if you wanted something to drink from the casino bar you were not allowed to go downstairs in the lobby with the drinks....even if it was supposed to be all inclusive...the employees were not qualified at all, impolite...and they don't speak english!!! Where in the world the receptionist doesn't spek english , or the bodyguard which by the way jumps at you if you enter the hotel to use the public toilet, even if he just saw you at the tables outside!
The pool for children was dirty, they didn'tclean the pool area...all in all a very bad hotel with very very poor services, i wouldn't recommend it at all...
