During your stay at Arena mar outdoor pool area. The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool and a whirlpool. If you want to stay active during your stay, you can take part in aerobics sessions and work out in the gym. There's also a dartboard for some friendly competition. We stayed here only one night and everything was alright! The room was cleaned, guys from reception were very nice and polite. We paid 10 leva for parking. We also had breakfast included and were lots of options (fruits, cheese, eggs, cakes and cookies). Those 4 stars are rated correctly.

The Overall Impression for a Family with 2 Kids(a Baby also) is good - grade 8. Positive: - double room Standard with balcony was enough for us - cleanliness in the room - every day and Change of towels when you want - All Inclusive Food - maybe not high quality but a lot of diversity(salads,beef,pork,fisch,etc) - A/C working fine
Negative: - the doors were very weak and bent - no free Wi-Fi Connection in the room but only to the reception and there was not good also - All Inclusive - local drinks

Arena Mar is a nice and clean hotel. The personal doesn't speak very well english. The parking is small and you'll must to pay a fee for use it. The rooms are large, clean and nicely decorated. Good price/quality ratio.

Overall not a good experience. Just as you arrive, the negative things start to happen. They wouldn’t let us park in the hotel parking because “there weren’t free spots” although there were. They have said it was for other guests and sent us to park in parking area which was not near the hotel and was more expensive. Next, the floor in the room had stains, asked them to clean it, they faked the cleaning of it, still dirty. Shower is awful, rusty with no pressure and with stinky water. The same stinky water you get at the water machine in the restaurant or the pool bar. Food quality was very bed and oily. Fruits were not even washed/rinsed and we with some other tourists asked them to clean them, but they have brought them back still dirty. Coffee is mostly water tasting and the quality of the drinks/alcohol served at the bars was poor. Otherwise, the pool area was ok. In addition, for what it worths, the WiFi connection was also bad. Overall, wouldn’t recommend this place.

We spent 6 days at this hotel with family and child. Nice and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good food and lots of it. It's a great experience. A good place for groups of friends but also for families with children. I noticed a very good organization. I also work in tourism and I can appreciate it when employees do their best with tourists to have a good time.

Great hotel very modern and clean and fresh not a very old building. I stayed there because the hotel next door had booked me in but was closing for the season mid week . So they arranged my accommodation at this wonderful Area Mar great location great food all staff very very friendly and helpful can’t fault the place great Ukrainian bar lad and young lady thank you

Long story short: DO NOT GO THERE. Very dirty room, rusty shower, spiders in the room. The four stars are a joke, we booked one night but left after the first. The staff didn't object anything, they kind of expected that people won't like it.
The toilet wasn't sanitized at all and didn't feel secure. We got the first room replaced, but the new one was also miserable. Ruined vacation, will never come back.

I was transfered from another hotel and couldn't have asked to have been looked after any better, the staff are wonderful and happy to help. You are a 2 minute walk to the beach, with lots of bars and shops on hand. Valya works behind the reception bar and is a treasure, and an asset to the hotel. The food is buffet style and plenty of choice and decent open hours, the staff are all friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend and would come back again.

The rooms are basic with no English channels other than the news. Food is pretty much the same everyday,a poor quality. Staff are ignorant and not polite. Entertainment was awful, that's when there was any. I was woken up 5 out of 7 nights due to young clubbers screaming and banging doors.
Golden sands strip is very basic and get bored of after 2 nights.
Finally got hit with a bill of 50 lev for dirty sheets, when I was checking out.
Overall poor holiday don't waste your time or hard worked money on this.

Please, note that the comments of the guests are very important for us and our employees are available to perform the actions needed to make you feel attended in the best manner. Of course, we would've liked to be able to discuss any issues you had whilst still in Hotel as some of the problems you had could've been solved during your stay. For example if you had shared with us your request for more English channels, our maintenance department could solve the problem immediately, since our cable TV has more than 5 English channels, some of the TV's however have to be programmed manually. We are surprised to read that you are not satisfied by the variety and quality of the food in the restaurant as our Chef's team is offering the following thematic dinners in order to satisfy the taste of our international clients: Traditional Bulgarian evening, Italian, Gala dinner, Mediterranean, etc.The food for breakfast, lunch, snack's and dinner also includes different type of meat, vegetables, sea food and fish, diary products, fruits, deserts, pasta, sauces, soups, sandwiches, bakeries and many others. We are so sorry to read your negative words about our hardworking staff and the animation program. During the day we offer sport animation: darts, water gymnastics, stretching, cocktail games, water polo, dance lessons, etc. We also have several evening shows weekly: Traditional Bulgarian folk program, Latino/salsa show, Brazilian samba/capoeira show, Balkan fiesta, Magic show, live music, quizzes, bingo , etc. Regarding the noise during the evening, please accept our sincere apologies. I stayed there for 4 days i may 2017.. The reception staff speaks good English and are very nice.. The rooms are nice, clean and in pretty and light colors.. The balcony have a good size.. I orderd and payed for sea wiew, but that was not worth it, because I could barrly see it from the room or from the balcony

In our opinion it was whether it was the week we picked we are not sure.everybodies opinions are different and this was ours .very different to what we had read and information given by the travel agent.
There are more places to choose from in the Golden Sands area.
