This must be a record for giving a late review as this dates back to June 2014. My wife and I got married in Barrier and we had some of our family stay at the hotel and used the RV parking (I also stayed there the night before the wedding). Very nice people + clean rooms (I'm very picky about... More

The new owners are very nice and friendly. We liked our room. Internet was not great. It is nicely set off the highway but close to the tracks. The rooms are clean and our beds were comfy . We would stay here again.

Still a good value but no longer pet friendly - pets are NOT allowed anymore. Still the best choice in Barriere. Senior rates available. Weekly rates available. Lots of free parking. 1 BBQ in central grass area

They advertise the best rates and that is true. My wife and I stayed in a kitchenette with one large queen bed. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The room was spotlessly clean. There was lots of hot water and we both had baths. There is a railroad running by the property but we rarely heard it.... More

The Mountain Springs Motel is probably the cleanest motel we have ever stayed in. The bed was super comfortable, and a coffee maker provided. A number of trains rumbled past but this was not a problem, not too loud, and frankly, I like trains. Could have used a comfortable chair for reading. There was a small table and a couple... More

We happened to stumble onto Mountain Springs RV Park as we headed toward Valemount , tired, getting dark. What a lovely little campground this is. We drove past at first and were able to turn around in a restaurant parking lot a short distance ahead of the "motel". If we'd not seen the few motorhomes in their park we probably... More

I enjoyed my stay here. I had checked out two other places prior to coming and was too tired to keep going into Kamloops. Glad I chose to try one more! The owner/manager is very kind and flexible. The room was large and comfortable. Everything is well maintained and super clean. A fridge, coffee maker, and microwave as well as... More

We spent one night recently and were impressed with the overall maintenance of the property. The motel room is basic but you had the feeling that it had been thoroughly cleaned by people who care. From what we saw it is the best bet in Barriere. Cindy was very pleasant and accommodating letting us have our small dog at a... More

Nice place to stay in Barrier - would be my first choice when going back. We were there for six nights in August 2013. Pet friendly. HUGE grass area out front with common BBQ, gazebo. Rooms were clean and a good size. Quite impressed for a budget motel. I think all rooms come with a basic kitchenette. RV friendly. Would... More
