Whoever came up with the idea of luxurious spa lodge in the middle of nowhere Canadian wilderness is simply genius. We stayed at Tyax Resort in September of 2015 and then again in August 2016, each time before and after our mountain biking trip with Tyax Adventures (a separate company). Both years, I was able to book a massage appointment...

We spend 5 day for heliskiing. Great lodge with very friendly staff. Everybody was introducing themselves and asking for names. Also staff joined for dinner and not only the guides or pilots. Even houskeeping got to mingle. Rooms are very nice and make sure you get one overlooking the lake. Food is great and amazing for such a remote locations

They weren't kidding when they describe this as a wilderness resort. The nearest large town, Lillooet, is 2 hours away on gravel roads. The closet "town" is Gold Bridge with a population of just 27. The hotel is situated on a lake and literally surrounded by mountains. It is a beautiful setting with many trails to hike and bike from...

We visited this hotel with a group of 20 people. When we arrived, some rooms did not have the power, and there was a general problem with hot water. The management argued that there was a technical problem. One day later, we learn that they forgot to order fuel. The owner was friendly and allowed to take shower in her...

I've never had a bad time here! Such an absolutely beautiful setting with endless amount of things to do! My favourite place to adventure! There's nothing like a spa and hot tub after a big bike ride. The plane drops into the wilderness are second to none. And the food is yummy at the restaurant!

Tyax lodge is sort of an oasis in the middle of nowhere. And it really is in the middle of nowhere. The hotel is nice, but not over the top extravagant. Service is very good, although in summer the restaurant/bar staff was stretched a bit thin, making for slower service. The biggest issue for me is the lack of depth...

We spent 3 nights here as part of 3 and a half week tour of western Canada and viewed our time here as a few days for rest and recuperation, it was perfect! The location is fantastic, right next to a serene lake surrounded by snow capped mountains. There is a long drive along a road which has loose gravel...

We stayed here for three nights and had a lakeside facing room which I'd highly recommend. Everything about this hotel is great, from the serene surroundings to the excellent staff who work here. Usage of the canoes and paddle boards are also free! The food in the restaurant is of a high standard, although it can seem expensive if you...
