The resort is on a road in the mountains 10-15 minutes out of Nakusp. The hot spring itself was clean but underwhelming; essentially two swimming pools, a hot one and a warm one. There is a snack bar, or if you rent a chalet, there is a kitchenette where you can make your own food. Our chalet was clean and...

Four adults stayed for two nights. The two pools and change rooms are clean and modern, but the Chalets need to be upgraded with A/C, furniture, clothing hooks, cutlery and a few other accessories. We understand mountain roughness, but the rooms need an upgrade. The office and pools do not open until 9:30 which was disappointing for our travel plans....

We just returned from camping over the long weekend. If you are tent camping: I recommend you book these sites: #2, 3, 4, 5 or 11. Number 3 and 4 are the best ones. You camp on a field. Some spots are pretty close together, but if you get the above numbered ones you will be fine. There is so...

Was almost impossible to get ahold of anyone to secure a camping spot or to even find out if there was space. The facitlies themselves are nice, but need to be maintained better and washrooms cleaned more often

Accomodation was reasonably priced. Not a proper restaurant - only premade microwavable food. Pool opens too late (9:30am) and closes way too early (9pm) I wont return because Halcyon Hot Springs has a proper restaurant to dine in.

This place is pretty neat. It's rustic and has a lot of snow in the winter. The trail to the bridge and beyond is a fun hike and of course the springs are super relaxing. Bathrooms are a little outdated but...over all its a nice place. My only complaint is the tourists that engage their car alarms and then goto...

We booked a trip for three several months ago and asked for a cot at the time however they no longer had cots when we arrived. Rick at the front desk went above and beyond and made sure we were taken care of. The chalets are very clean, tidy and well stocked. The bathrooms were immaculate with newer tubs and...

I loved this gem. It was just my girlfriend and I and we stayed in chalet 1 for the night. 4 beds is a little too much for us for the night but oh well. The beds aren't perfect, the futon isn't super cozy, but come on these aren't built this way anymore. The cool small spiral staircase and the...

Beautiful hiking trails, cozy little chalets, friendly staff. The only downsides to our visit would be that staying in one of the back chalets you can hear everything from the people opposite of you, which can become pretty noisy with kids around. Also you would think when booking at a hot springs resort, the hot springs would be included in...

Management response:

We are currently looking into options to help with the sound barrier between suits and will also discuss re-pricing options to combine the cost of the Chalets with the pools. Thank you for your feedback.

I took my wife here for her 50th birthday. The room was tiny and not very well supplied. One pan to cook in. The room was badly in need of updating. The bed was really good tho and luckily the heater worked well. The pools were great and staff was friendly so it was still a great visit, but next...

Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the pools and the service from the staff and had an overall great visit! It is also good to know that the beds in the Chalets are comfortable and the rooms are warm in the winter time. We offer the smaller suits as a more economical option...
