Having driven north from Crofton and the ferry from Salt Spring Island we were happy to arrive at our destination where we were staying for 3 nights. The accommodation is super quality, spacious, quiet and comfy. Rolf made us very welcome and was able to advise about local places to eat. We spent the first day exploring the local area...

We stayed at the Artist's Point for 4 nights while we were in Port McNeil and our host, Rolf, made us feel like we had just joined his family for those 4 nights. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to enjoy our trip and our stay. The photo tour we had turned out to...

Our family of 3 stayed here for 4 nights and didn't want to leave. The accommodations were like a 1 BR suite with an amazing view! Everything was clean and breakfast was really nice with fresh baked items and homegrown fruits/vegetables! The photography tour with the owner was the best we had ever experienced in 1 day!! More than we...

We chose to book 3 nights at The Artist's Point because of the rave reviews on TripAdvisor. Our experience met and exceeded our expectations in every way! The first floor apartment was: private, clean, colorfully decorated, had a beautiful ocean view from both the bedroom and living quarters, and included friendly horses grazing in the pasture just outside the apartment....

We don't normally stay at B&B's but after reading all the great reviews about The Artist's Point we were quickly got in contact with Rolf and booked 3 nights. The accommodation is in the basement suite of his beautiful hillside home overlooking the water: small kitchen (sink and fridge), living room (pull out couch), walk out patio, large bedroom (king...

We spent four nights at the Artist’s Point B & B and couldn’t have been happier. We had our 17 year old grandson with us and the apartment was wonderful as we all had our own space. Breakfasts were healthy and good especially the homemade bread. Our short walks to the rocky beach in front of the B & B...

The Artists Point is a superb B&B near Port McNeill. Rolf and Monica were excellent hosts and Rolf (a professional photographer) even gave me some advise concerning a problem I had encountered with my SLR camera. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and had we not already booked for a grizzly bear trip I would have booked a day with Rolf...

Large bathroom and large living room with a fridge and a sofa bed. The host, Mr Hicker is very friendly and helpful. He made homemade bread for our breakfast. Her friend Monica made California rolls with Crabs from their neighbour's fresh catch. They let us tried the smoke salmon they had also home made. It is a back to nature...
