Friends stayed in Sechelt for one night. They were unable to get a reservation at another suggested motel so ended up at the Royal Reach. Based on other reviews, we were a little worried about what they would find. They asked to see the rooms before checking in. They were pleasantly surprised! New carpet, new fixtures in the bathroom and...

Needed a stopover to shorten the next morning trip to the ferry at Langdale. Comfortable, clean. Best feature: super adaptable shower head for a therapeutic shower, an unexpected bonus. Accommodating staff. Effective privacy blinds.

We ended up staying here because all the other places were booked up and we had no other choice. At this point the shabbiness of the room was a non issue but when we went onto the bed to relax the whole thing tipped and our feet were in the air. It was ridiculous. That was minor compared to dried...

Stayed at this location because it is located on the inlet. Fresh sea breezes, seagulls crying....smell of the ocean.....and easy access of Wharf Street. Rooms are adequate and spacious. Note this is an older establishment, not your cookie cutter, chain....

I work out of town all the time, so I am quite accustom to sleeping in less-fancy hotels and cheap motels. I can sleep through pretty much anything, but the one thing I cant sleep through, is the feeling of Bedbugs crawling across my face, or the huge itchy welts they leave when they bite onto you. 2 out of...

This was a brief one-night stay during business. The service was good, the rooms were clean (far from fancy), and the Wi-Fi was decent (very handy, as I had to upload a lot of work data that night). I recall that the bed's were very comfy.

Hotel is OK, nice simple rooms. Was very hot, no A/C. There's a fan in the room so I could get some nice fresh air from the inlet. That was nice. Problem was the flocks of ducks starting around around 4:00AM, very noisy. Ample parking, restaurant next door, although we went back to Sechelt where's there's a good selection. The...

The royal reach served me great again. It is a bit of a no frills type place. But if looking for a clean, tidy room overlooking the ocean for a reasonable rate. It's my choice. Sleeping with the window wide open and the fan blowing made two nights sleeps perfect.

I was not impressed at all. Possibly the worst place I've ever stayed. Apon entering the room I noticed spider nest with big spiders in the front two corners of the room. Quickly cleaned those up. But later in the night when I needed sleep so I could get up early the next day. The real problems became transparent. The...

The rooms are clean. The showers are warm. They have flat panel tv in the room. Even updated keurig coffee machines. 10 minute walk to downtown. Our room (26) had a nice view of the marina and mountains. The place has a little run down look our door did not have a chain on it. Overall it is a budget...
