We booked the Kookaburra Lodge for my daughters soccer team attending a Tournament in Kamloops. It was a 45 minute drive every day to the Soccer Fields, but the condos were perfect for our Team. We were able to save money on meals by utilizing the great fully equipped kitchens in the condos. It was so nice to have kitchens that were equipped with pots/pans, kitchen utensils, plates/bowls/cups, some spices, and even plastic wrap and bags! The rooms were very comfortable and had laundry facilities as well, which were great for washing smelly soccer jerseys! Everything about the Condos were great. The location of Kookaburra to the village was very convenient as well, an easy two minute walk to the edge of the village and the River running by was great for walks.

We stayed a weekend with our three kids ages 4, 7, and 13. The room was clean, modern and spacious. We loved the hot tub on the deck. We found the kitchen to be well stocked for all of our cooking needs. The location is close to all of the action. Pool is across the street and village was a short and easy walk for our youngest. Our only complaints were that either the air conditioning was hard to find or there was none (lol) so it got a little warm and there is no tv in the master bedroom. Those things would not prevent us from returning. Overall it was a great trip.

We had a group of 18 split between 2 condos, and the location was perfect. Ski lockers were great. We were able to get one for each of the 6 families in our group and were a convenient way to store our equipment. The table in the ski room was a helpful addition when packing up ski bags. Condos were well appointed. We ran out of garbage bags and dishwasher tabs, and one quick call to Bear Country Management led to them being resupplied within half a day. Dishes were plentiful. Buy your own foil and saran wrap. The hot tub crew who came in each day to test the water and top it up were personable and very professional. How can you not love guys with Aussie accents who wear plastic booties over their footwear? :) Location could not be beat. A short 100 m (or less) walk in our ski boots to the top of the village allowed us to ski right through the village to the bottom of the lift. Another option is to hike alongside the Cahilty to the run that leads to the village. Coming home was a beautiful ski in run (the one alongside the Cahilty) which leads to less than 20 m walk to the condo. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better spot!

Our family of four stayed in unit 303 for several days while travelling in BC. We've been to Sun Peaks previously in winter for skiing and had a fantastic experience. Our summer experience was equally great, if not better in some ways. The Kookaburra Lodge was the perfect summer location being right at the edge of the village with easy access to shops and restaurants, directly across from the community pool and tennis courts and right on the village trail walking path. The unit we stayed in was warmly decorated and relaxing. The kitchen was very well equipped and the unit had little extras like games, movies and colouring books and markers. A few small additions would make the unit perfect. The lovely deck would benefit from a bbq and some outdoor seating so guests could enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine while listening to the sound of the running creek right outside the unit. The unit doesn't appear to have air conditioning and would benefit from a fan in each of the bedrooms. We're already planning our summer stay for next year and look forward to a longer stretch in 303.

We stayed in 205 a 2 bdrm 2 bath unit for four nights. Overall the accommodations were great and met all of our needs. The hot tub on the deck was a bonus after a day of skiing. My two complaints would be. 1. the loud fan for the restaurant that starts up at 3:30 pm each day which was not a big deal if you kept your windows/deck door closed (this may be an issue in the summer). 2. the restaurant seems to have a night club.... one night of our stay a Wed night very loud music till 12:30 am and semi loud till 4:00 am, for me that means no sleep which i was not impressed with.
