There's very few places to stay between Winnipeg and kenora and kenora is out of the way. Falcon lake is a beautiful setting. The rooms are basic and the washrooms need work. However the shower has lots of pressure and hot. The beds were comfortable and everything worked fine. The Chinese restaurant was fantastic. Steve, the chef, cooked us up...

We have stayed before, not because it was great, but because it was easier than driving back and forth to the city each day. Looks like we will be doing some more driving from now on. I awoke in the morning with bed bug bites all over me! Itchy painful and gross!!! Don't stay here!!

After reading some of the previous reviews we did not know what to expect. Years ago we stayed in one of the suites. It was comfortable, clean and very cozy then and continues to be so now. We did consider staying in one of the suites and checked it out and decided to stay in 2 adjoining rooms as there...

Fixed patio door screen upon arrival. Able to have 1 shower then no hot water. Kitchen sink plugged for 2 days-no one came to fix it. 2 legs on chair broke. I called a day before we arrived & no one said pool was broken. Don't stay here. Yuck. Dirty. Filthy.

Aug long. Headed to ontario. All booked. Could not find any place to go camping. Turn back to kenora. Harbor fest. All the big corporate hotels jacked the prices by at least a 100 buck per night. After a few hours of searching we started to head back to winnipeg and made a phone to falconlake hotel.. Had one room...

Spent one night here because we didn't check reviews beforehand. Extremely overpriced, it was horrible. I was tempted to sleep in the car. The room stunk, was dirty, very very dated. They had the pictures screwed to to walls to prevent them from being stolen; they needn't have bothered. There were bugs, the TV didn't work, the WI FI password...

Returning home on a Long Family Road Trip - plans to stay in Winnipeg fell through so we decided to drive as far as we could and hopefully find something for the night. It was starting to get dark so we decided to look for something in the area - luck was on our side as I found the Falcon...

The sauna was closed, the hot tub was closed, when I lifted the cover cockroaches came out. The pool stairs were rotten, everything was a rusty brown, there are bugs crawling in the rooms and the hall way. Extremely outdated. Kids theme room is bugs bunny. Just rundown. Will never ever go back
