Back at the beginning it was a Super 8, brand new and well kept. Flash forward. Now the Morris Stampede Inn. Nothing not even the towels have been upgraded. Dirty! Don't think a vacuum has been used behind the dresser or night stand EVER or a carpet cleaner has been used since. Bathroom floor needs a good scrub. It took...

We arrived in Morris during a winter storm, the highways were closed, so we went to the Morris Stampede Inn as a last resort. They gave us their last room and told us they were bringing in chicken soup from the Chicken Chef. We stayed there three hours until the roads were open. Before we left, we had some soup...

No hot water in the bathroom sink, cold only on both faucets...Hot water in the shower also took a bit long to warm up. Bed is hard, no softness to the mattress (had a sore lower back all weekend from sleeping on it) stayed on the main floor, can hear people walking around on the 2nd floor through the ceiling....

We got stranded in Morris due to a winter snow storm that hit on Jan 2/17. They welcomed us and made us feel at home as soon as we walked in the door. Yvette, the receptionist - what a gem with fantastic personality! She told us there was no need to rush out and we could stay as long as...

Nothing special, Internet is hit or miss, floors in my room were dirty and carpet looked dated, preferred to wear my socks while in the room, The towels were in dire need of replacing. Didn't matter which one of the 3 I used that were in the room, they were old, old, old, and not that white. Also having a...

We arrived in Morris after coming from the USA and decided to stay here instead of heading to a bigger center. The room we got was very much in need of maintenance and thorough cleaning. The beds sheets were only flat sheets very thin not fitted to bed just laid on bed when we pulled back the bedspread there were...

The facility is average, and really I have no choice since this is one of the 2 accommodations/hotels in the area. Overall cleanliness is not bad but they can do better. The room carpet needs updating since its all worn out and not very clean. Employee personnel are pleasant. Check-in time is 3 pm , but the room was not...

Room 111. NOT GOOD!! Bed was broken, bathroom was not clean and the AC vent was blowing cold air all night. The public computer is out of order as is the elevator. Staff was pleasant enough but we will not stay again. Over priced for a tired old hotel.
