My wife, infant twins and our helper stayed here last month while we were traveling in Atlantic Canada. We felt, based largely on reviews on TripAdvisor, that our expectations about the hotel and restaurant were reasonable. Both the accommodations and the restaurant far exceeded those expectations. Our interactions with the staff were marvelous from first to last. Our rooms worked...

The ocean view rooms are great! Jetted tub, king sized bed and a view that's fantastic! The restaurant, Tides, has great food and friendly service. The Lobster and Shrimp cheese dip is to die for!!! The lobster roll is full of huge chunks of local lobster.

We stayed here three nights. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We opted for an "ocean" view room (really a bay view) and the view was nice. There was some construction work on a pier going on next to the hotel, so one morning was a bit noisy, but only a big deal for those who like to sleep...

Friendly - not much Helpful - only in a pinch Smiles - not sure how Welcoming - no I booked direct with the hotel over the phone. Asked for a deluxe ocean view which we received. My antenna should have gone up as the fellow on the phone although efficient was in no means friendly. Arrived at the hotel desk...

We didn't know until we were in Alma that the government recommends boiling tap water - I believe it might have to do with work being done on drainage. I wish I had known in advance; I would have brought some bottled water! This hotel/restaurant was right across from our B&B, so we gave it a go. All I can...

Had a lovely couple of nights stay at the Inn. Found the ppl there to be very hospitable, and the service was excellent. A little difficult being on the 3rd floor with no elevatori, but we take those things in stride, and pretty much laughed every time we went up (couldnt make a whole set of stairs without a rest,...

We stopped in here for dinner while on the scenic route. Atmosphere was warm and friendly. Dinner was yummy but a little pricey. We decided to see if they had a room and booked in. I was also disappointed that we were advised about the boil advisory after checking in but they offered more water if we needed it. The...

Both my experience booking my stay at the Parkland Village Inn via Hotels.com (through Kayak.com) and my stay at the hotel itself were very poor. I booked my two-day stay five months in advance of my trip. I pre-paid to guarantee a reservation for an ocean-view deluxe suite. Just one month prior to my trip I received an email from...

I was disappointed that we were not told when we made our reservation for the night of Aug 9. that all water must be boiled before ingestion. The directions also said that it could be used after boiling it for one minute. There was no microwave or way for us to boil it. They left 2 small bottles of water...
