We stayed overnight at The Blair House in St Stephen, we were traveling to PEI the next day. The inn was very comfortable and clean, the inn keepers were very helpful and delightfully cordial. Early evening brought everyone in the house together for tea, coffee and cookies, we chatted and exchanged ideas and experiences, it was like having a new... More

David is a very good host and his breakfast was wonderful. His home is right on the border of Canada and the US, so it is a good, affordable stop for your trip. You can tell that at one time, this was a grand home.

What a lovely historic home in little St. Stephen, New Brunswick! It was a perfect stopping point just over the Canadian border en route from Massachusetts to Prince Edward Island. David Whittingham provided perfect directions and details about crossing the border that some travelers will find useful. My daughter and I were welcomed, shown around the house, and given information... More

My husband and I always return to Blair House whenever we are driving into Eastern Canada. This was our third time there and we are never disappointed. The host, David, is welcoming, the rooms charming and they are decorated in keeping with the age and style of the handsome old home. David offers tea and cookies in the evenings and... More

As soon as I called for reservations for this B & B, I knew after talking to the owner David, we would be very comfortable here!! David's English accent and demeanor were so relaxing to the soul, he made you feel comfortable. The B & B was a beautiful old Victorian, with all the charm and elegance, yet with such... More

This is the third time that we have stayed at Blair House. Every visit has been wonderful. David is a great host. We always enjoy chatting with the other guests as David serves tea and cookies at 9 P.M. In the morning it's like having breakfast with old friends as we sit around the long dinning room table and enjoy... More

Our visit in St. Stephen's was extra special due to the hospitality at Blair House. David, our host, was excellent.... friendly and inviting. He helped us find a great place to eat and invited us to an evening tea filled with conversation and cookies. Blair house is beautiful.... lovely gardens and beautiful rooms. After reading the reviews, we tried to get a room at the B&B but it was booked. We had to wait a few years to get back to St Stephen. Thankfully this time the Blair House was free. Hint: planning in advance helps! The wait was well worth it. David is an excellent host and his knowledge of the local... More

We chose this B&B based on Tripadvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. The John McAdam room was both clean and comfortable, the breakfast offered several choices and was very good, and the host was friendly. Couldn't ask for more.

Blair House is a fine B&B and it was much appreciated that there was a double, twin-bedded room so that two friends could stay at a reasonable rate. I checked around and no other B&B seemed to have a similar room. Many thanks!
