We spent 1 night while waiting for our flight the next day. Great location near the airport. We arrived around 6pm and the night-shift front desk lady was very friendly and helpful as we chatted. She printed out our boarding passes for us. The rooms are of an adequate size for an 'overnighter' for a couple, very clean and comfortable...

We drove past this place twice...no sign out front. Front desk couldn't answer any questions. No cameras, no AC. One tiny bed, one chair. Extension cords everywhere in room, fan not working, big soft spot in the floor...could roll an ankle if you weren't careful. Terrible night sleep. Breakfast is not included. Ice bags are behind front desk already bagged....

Old,dirty, small room. Large old furniture, double bed...no queen. Scary! No vacancy in this sad town...had to stay. Website has inaccurate photo of charming Englosh Tudor Inn. Canada Select should have another look and reduce this establishment to One Star.

Poor Front End Service:(:( would never come back! Came in tired, after a long drive from St. Anthony. 3 women at the desk not one smiled, said hello nor I'll be right with you. After observation 2 were cleaners the 3rd the front end service person. Finally we got some attention, not even a welcome, just what can I do...

The only thing really going for this hotel is its proximity to the airport. Fortunately we only need to stay there one night. The room was very small to begin with but the large furniture in the room made the situation even worse. It is an OK place if you just need to catch a few hours sleep but that's...

We drove around all booked, finally this had vacancy, an old Inn, park in the back lot's of stairs to climb. Not to friendly stay, people are but that is it. Lot's of noise people with motorbikes, will not stay there again.

We stayed here recently on business and all in all it was a quaint little place. Our room was clean, however very tiny & clearly designed for 1 person only. The furniture in this room was far too large & made navigating to the bathroom tricky. Bed was pushed into corner. If they removed 1 large piece, & replaced another...

We already had a booking for the following two nights, but on this night before, I called because I had cancelled the room in between and hoped we could be accommodated at the Driftwood. Well we were kindly received by the friendliest front desk person I encountered on our trip. We actually became friends since. She tried to get us...

Very old - outdated property with lots of stairs to contend with. Stairs meet you to get to the main building and then up to the lobby - from there two flights up to rooms. Room was clean and bathroom nicely modernized. No a/c - but access to window to open for fresh air.TV did not work. Hotel staff friendly...

Watch out for the 7am wake up call with the sound of the air raid sirens that go off from the nearby power station that is now considered a tourist attraction..... Once I found out the history and why, I was ok with it, but when you only get in late after the last flight into deer lake and then...
