We chose this B&B for one of our night's accommodations during our vacation. The home was lovely and quiet ... anything we needed, we just had to ask. The grounds were very well maintained. The view from our bedroom window ... a beautiful sunset! Breakfast was superb ... especially Rose's mandarin orange tea biscuits! Would definitely return for a longer stay.

My parents used this place as their first stop over on their driving holiday. It was a great two day stay. Rose and Bob are very friendly. The rooms and grounds are beautiful. We even got to see a moose walking around. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it. Great breakfast.

Staying at Butterpot B & B was a major highlight of our stay in Newfoundland. Location was excellent for the day trips we took to surrounding area attractions. Hospitality by Rose and Bob at their immaculate home was stellar and made our visit relaxing and pleasant. Their warmth and friendliness made up for the foggy, chilly days. Breakfasts were varied, tasty and elegant. The the landscaped grounds and beautiful begonias were memorable. In all, a wonderful friendly visit with accommodating hosts who made us feel at home. Like visiting family. We HIGHLY recommend this B & B and will stay again if we ever make it to Newfoundland again.

My very first B&B..ever! A wedding brought me to Holyrood and Butterpot was recommended. I have friends who booked other B&B's in the area; I have no regrets. Phenomenal hosts (Rose and Bob), impeccably clean, excellent bed and sheets and Rose will feed you a fantastic breakfast...saying no is not an option. It's like visiting your grandmothers house...you definitely feel the warmth. Would absolutely return.

This was a great little B&B. The house was nice, the rooms were nice, the breakfast was good. Rose was an excellent and helpful host. I was a little apprehensive about having to share a bathroom, but even that worked out very well. I'd happily stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights during our visit to Newfoundland. We enjoyed our stay here with Rose who was a lovely host, making us yummy breakfasts and making sure we had everything we needed. It is a quiet, clean and well situated B and B for exploring the Avalon Peninsula area.
