Detailed Reviews
Beautiful surroundings! The room was just your average room - clean and tidy. The front desk staff very friendly. Disappointed in our dining experience both dinner - limited menu available, understaffed and breakfast - buffet style with no hot food choices (because it was a weekday we were told), bruised and moldy fruit and too expensive for what was offered.

Very pleased with the room and
the restaurant.
The service was excellent and
the food was good.
The little ones really enjoyed the pool as well.
We were really pleased with the surroundings
unfortunately due to the weather the golf was cancelled.
Next visit perhaps?

+1
The stay at ibsi is very good, the staff are very warm and helpful, and the room check-in is very good. By the way, I really liked the housekeeping staff named May. All the staffs are great, next time I come to Abu Dhabi, I want to have this kind of warmth again.

Recently stayed here for a wedding and it was not a all that the place claims to be. The rooms lacked basic amenities like a desk clock, hair dryer, iron, iron board, bottle water, and room phone. If you needed anything you had to go down to front desk and one front desk person was rather rude. The front desk person asked me if I had a cell phone and that I should use that. WOW! Some service! Some people do not have cell phones.
At the wedding hall it was rather warm and asked 3 different staff members to put on the fans and they ever did it. I opened the patio door half way and they shut it. Covid times and they did not have any air flow.
Upon entering the hotel after a morning walk I informed the front desk that some rude dog owner left a tied up bag of poop by the post in the entrance way. We had to side step it to get into the front door. Two hours later when we left the hotel to go to the marriage ceremony there were 2 more bags added. Nobody removed the first bag (which I told them about 2 hours earlier) so RUDE pet owners were added to the pile.
This resort needs to retrain their staff and step up and start acting like a proper resort. I will not be staying here again.

Poorly furnished room. No dresser or desk. The coffee maker was perched on top of the mini fridge. One bedside table for a queen sized bed. No mirror other than the bathroom. Open clothes hanger shelf facing the bed.
One light in the entrance and one beside lamp. Needed a flashlight to find things in our suitcases.
No wall outlets beside the bed. Light switch for the bathroom was down the hall and behind a door.
We wondered if it was meant to be a guest room or if it was a storage room that had been temporarily set up for guests.
The property seemed to be close to empty, so there should have been lots of rooms to assign to our party of three couples. The two other couples changed rooms soon after checking in. One because their room had not been properly cleaned and there were indications the bed had not been changed. The other because the vent fan for the kitchen was right outside their window.
We did not want the inconvenience of moving but afterwards wished we had.
The restaurant insisted that we make a reservation for the six of us. It was nearly empty when we arrived.
The menu was basic and the waiter told us the fish and chips was the best thing on the menu. We all had it with no complaints.
This was the eighth hotel we were in during a 16 day tour of NFLD and we collectively agreed is was the most disappointing by far.
We recommend that you avoid this property when travelling in NFLD.

I was there for a 2 night stay. I was told it was a beautiful place to stay. The hotel rooms were spacious however the AC was extremely loud and didn't work that well. There was no way to contact the front desk from the room. The cleaning staff was unfriendly and wanted you out of that room extremely fast. They basically knocked on my door and said are you leaving yet. I had an hour before check out. For breakfast you have 3 choices and lets just say don't get the bacon unless you want to eat it raw. The toas was beardly toasted and was so cold it didn't even melt the butter.
For all the hype it's not worth the 412 for 2 nights.

This is pretty much the only place to stay within about an hour's drive. I think calling it a resort is a misnomer, but it is a totally fine hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious if not exactly resort-like (think Holiday Inn). The folks at the desk were friendly and helpful, and the parking is easy. The breakfast was not great; the eggs seemed like a fake egg product, although the rest was fine.

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting friends in a bar nearby. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable with a great sea view. As much as there was a couple of niggles we still expect to book up for next year.

Myself and 7 friends did the stay and play package in the cabins. First let me say that the wild is absolutely beautiful. Cabins were clean, the golf was beautiful on the first day. Unfortunately the weather changed for the worse the second day and we were unable to play. We were hoping to receive a rain check for the second round (which is included in the price) however we were told that the wilds does not hand out rain checks for the stay and play packages. And true enough the web site does state that however due to the fact that we booked 2 months in advanced and Newfoundland weather is not exactly pridictable, you would think an exception could be made. However and exception could not be made and we went home not receiving what we paid for. To bad I guess. In short I'll say the wilds is a beautiful place but stay away from the stay and play packages. Unless of coarse your sure of the weather.

Hello Mel! Thanks for your question.
Our cottages DO have laundry facilities in each one, as well as kitchenettes and BBQ's. We can certainly look into booking one of those for your stay.
Unfortunately we do not yet have laundry facilities in the hotel or villas.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
