We made a last minute call to get into a place in Rocky Harbour. They have 4 very clean motel units on this RV campground. We had good wifi, lots of hot water and the staff were very friendly. There isn't any coffee or tea in the rooms but apparently this is going to change in the near future. The...

Have been in Newfoundland for over 6 weeks, from Port au Basque to St. John's. We would rate this park # 1 of all we have stayed at. We use parks for base camp while we explore the area. Very clean and well kept. Exceptionally knowledgable and friendly staff. Jim and Cindy

Lovely private spot. Very quiet. Big rigs are out in the open, but if you have a smaller unit there are treed spots with private fire pits and picnic tables. Close to all hiking trails and the boat tour into Western Brook Farm. Located in Rocky Harbour, you can walk into town. Take a drive to Norris Point and Woody...

This campground was well maintained and offered great wifi (which is rare at campgrounds). It didn't offer much in the way of activities; there was no playground, no pool, no convenience store, etc. There were no great views either (no ocean or lake views). It was a good place to stay the night before you move on to something else.

We have been camping in Gros Morin Park all week and we found this campgrou d to be an excellent place flr couples. Staff were helpful, friendly and pleasant. Would be happy to return. Very few children so it suited seniors well.

We stayed here for a total of 4 days in September. The place wasn't very full at this point in time (weather is a bit cooler this year), so it was very quiet. We were tent camping. Getting in touch with who I assume is the owner was kind of annoying. He doesn't hang around the office. We called ahead...

This private campground has both full service and EW sites. The full service sites are located in two open areas where the RV's are lined up in rows on a gravel surface. The EW section is much nicer, though only a limited number can accommodate big rigs. All have gravel surfaces for parking your rig (though most units use at...

Excellent! That's how we would rate the Rocky Harbour RV Park Campground overall. Safe, lovely, private, quiet and green sites for smaller outfits, as well as larger sites for very large outfits on adjacent lot. Extremely clean washrooms, showers and laundromat. Cookhouse equipped with a large wood stove and tables to accommodate campers on rainy days. Here is what you...

Really good RV park! Right on the edge of the town, and right off the main highway. Very convenient. Great sites! VERY clean and a laundromat! Very helpful owner! Recommended that you see "Anchor's Away"... which runs monday, wednesday and Fridays every week during the summer. HILARIOUS musical humour. FABULOUS talent!!! A real local treasure! About 2km from the trailer...
