A friend and myself used Trinity as our base Hotel to rest from hiking and travelling in the area We made a reservation a week ahead pf time but when we got there we were notified there was a wedding the next day and a party going on that night. Thankfully the guests only partied until 11 pm because pur room was exactly next door to the party room. Really?!?? Breakfast was ok. Coffee excellent and service too

We had a comfortable stay at the Eriksen Premises. Room was nice with a comfortable bed and a couple of armchairs. Breakfast was included and was served in a nice room with lovely views and was plentiful including a hot breakfast if you wanted it. My only criticism was the bathroom - no room for your toiletries and a hand held shower over a claw footed bath - looks nice but not very satisfactory.

Our guest room was in the main building. The ensuite bathroom’s sink was partially clogged as it took forever to drain – no one at the front desk to address this issue, no directions on who to phone if no one at the front desk and the adjoining Gift Shop workers were very busy with lots of customers … we lived with it! Enjoyed sitting in the comfortable common room. Breakfast the next morning was in Sophia's and was magnificent.

Our room was off site so you had to go back to the main building for breakfast. That also meant that when a problem arose, there was no one to take care of it. A breaker flipped for the hydro in our room so we were powerless all night. That's an issue not being able to recharge our devices. The tile floor was freezing. When we went to check out and told the staff about this, they were not concerned. We just got a very vague and insincere apology. I was hoping they would discount the room since we certainly didn't get what we paid for. We also should have been told that there is a lighthouse which shines its light in the window all night long. The breakfast choice was limited to 2 things, pancakes or oatmeal.

Fits in very well with the Trinity area. Rooms are of the size you would expect in a historic setting. If you something bigger, stay in Clarenville. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast was fine. Wifi is good. Would readily stay here again if in the area. Great staff, and both a good restaurant and gift shop on premises.
