The room was clean and comfortable. Rates are quite reasonable. Pretty view of the water. Very quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. Close to restaurants. Had a nice stay. If you are looking for a traditional Cabot Trail experience this motel should be on your list.

My husband and I recently stayed 2 nights on short notice and were offered a chalet room because we wanted a fridge. We were warned upfront that the chalet bed was a bit less than a soft mattress and appreciated the heads up, but it really did not matter. We had stayed at the same location 26 years ago with...

This motel is your typical motel that most people would chose to stay in. It is not a $ 200.00 - $ 300.00/night Hotel. It is however a very clean and charming motel with great staff at the front counter and very friendly staff in the restaurant. We stayed the night of August 3rd and all though we did not...

Excellent choice for a good night's sleep. Very nice bedding. A small verandah with Adirondack chairs, was very inviting to view the lake as well as the highway. Unfortunately there was a huge electrical storm that night so we couldn't experience the swimming pool. This place is just outside the town and I must say the town has gotten quite...

Stayed at the Cabot Trail Motel for one night on the 27th July 2016. Great view from our room which was very clean. The restaurant was good and staff friendly. This was our second stay and will stay again in the future.

It is a Mom and Pop motel certainly not the ritz but clean. It was staffed and owned by the most friendly, warm and without a doubt helpful group of people. Always with a smile on their faces. Breakfast was very good and quite reasonable for the amount of food and great service. Had dinner there the last evening of...

If you are considering a family reunion then I would highly suggest this motel. The layout of the motel permits a large group to have privacy without disturbing other guests and beautiful views of the waters of Baddeck. Owner is usually on site and very accommodating (allowed our group the use of her kitchen to cook a large meal and...

Perfect place to stay. Close enough to Baddeck and just perfect for commencing your journey Clean, quaint hotel. I recommend. The motel has a restaurant for breakfast and supper. The grounds are very well kept and rooms very clean.

Stayed here for two nights in order to experience the Cabot Trail. Motel has the most spectacular views and is close to lots of amenities, including Baddeck itself. Rooms are clean and peaceful, but the bed was a little hard. Food was good and the staff are both friendly and polite. Overall, a great place to stay.
