Simple menu for breakfast…choice of four meals all included Juice and Coffee for 15$…where else can you get a B&E breakfast with juice ( and refills) with coffee for that price!.not much else in Baddeck at this time of year so this was a huge bonus.

I had booked this resort based on a recommendation and spoke several times to reservations. I was told we were getting an executive king with a propane fireplace and possibly in the new building which was overdue to open. On arrival the desk clerk informed that the new building was not ready and we were placed in an old building with a second floor room. You guessed it, no elevators. So two 70 plus had to hump our bags for what was to be a 3 day luxury stay up a creaky stairway with ripped wallpaper, and into a very tired room. Worn furniture, marks on the walls, and the propane fireplace was a fire log which we would never use. And no food on premises. The heater wall unit sounds like a freight train every time it starts up. No good night sleep here. They offered a room change but we are checking out a day early. Hope they get their act together.

Great place to stay passing through. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The food was good, we had the fish and chips. The room was clean but a bit tight and needing an update. The windows all opened so it was nice to be able to air it out. Would stay there again.

Excellent stay, the room was clean and cozy. The view down by the water was lovely. The staff were friendly. The included breakfast was fantastic! All of the basics offered in the room. Definitely felt welcomed and comfortable and the grounds were well kept and beautiful to walk through. I'd love to stay again!
