The room was large and clean. Very dated. Did not like the smell in the lobby. Glad we could walk out the back stairs. Dinner was ok. Slow but courteous. Breakfast buffet was better. Enjoyed the upstairs entertainment by the local Acadian singer. She was great. Liked our view from the balcony.

We are traveling on a caravan tour and this is one of the places where we have spent two nights. It is probably the best bed on the entire trip, very comfortable. The breakfast that they serve is also very good and I would recommend this place more highly except for the fact that the showers will not stay set...

After a bad experience at the celebrated local distillery we headed out and booked at Laurie's following a friend's visit. It's big. The rooms were bigger than I expected and you can see that a lot of bus tours use the Inn. It's a bit dated, but well kept given I expect lots of use. The best part was the...

The room was little bit musty, the quality of the bathroom low, needs urgently renovation! The service at the restaurant was not really good, the staff was overwhelmed. Although we had orderd in advance we where waiting three quarters of an hour before getting dinner. When complainig, the manager became quite unfriendly.

We did not stay here but only had the breakfast buffet - warning - we got food poisoning that night. it's the only food my fiance and I both had and we both got sick that night. While eating the breakfast buffet we both had to choke down the food, it was awful, something was off and then we got...

Enjoyed most of our stay as part of a Caravan bus tour. Food the first night was just terrible---cold and tasteless (fish for one person, meat pie for another). The breakfast buffets were much nicer. Rooms were very basic but OK. Nice location to walk to nearly everything. Laundry facilities very nice.

If you are in the Cheticamp area, Laurie's Motor Inn offers basic accommodations in Cheticamp. Fair restaurant fare also on the premises. The decor is country style. Rooms on the second floor have some view.

It has multiple buildings, Which are old and need upgrades. But its value for a night stay, as the town of Cheticamp is very small. Breakfast is served in a big Restaurant with lots of choices. Choose a Front Facing Room in Harbourview Bldg it has good views of the harbor. Breakfast is served in a separate restaurant bldg., with...

The hotel is older and needs some work, had a musty smell so we had to leave the windows open all the time. It is located on the top of a hill so had to walk up and down the hill to eat at the restaurant.

We stayed one night while on the Cabot Trail. This is an older property but it is well maintained. It is frequented by tourist buses so they find it good for their clients. Breakfast starts at 7 am which we found too late for us since we wanted an early start the next day. Since it is a property that...
