I meant to write this review during the summer, but it slipped my mind. I am hoping reviews like this might help management to improve on the quality of the offering at a beautiful property. We experienced both restaurants during our visit, other than breakfast,...More
Spent a night at Keltic at the beginning of the season and had a wonderful stay, with good food and friendly, helpful staff across the board.

I think the nearest airport is Sydney and I'm pretty sure it will be more than an hours drive. Since Keltic Lodge, and the Cabot Trail itself, is very rural, you would probably be better off renting a vehicle at the airport and driving to the Lodge. It is a very easy drive and that way you would be able to see more of Cape Breton Island which you must see if you are planning to stay at the lodge.
If you would like any further information, please feel free to ask as we just returned from Nova Scotia 2 weeks ago.
