It was getting late, so we took a chance and stopped in. Our room was in an older motel style block, but was bright and clean. I guess the best way I could describe the reception operation is 'casual'. But on the otherhand, they were helpful in solving the wifi problems I had. We had breakfast the next day, which...

We booked this online for a three night stay. As it called a resort and by the high price and the blurb online we thought it had more to offer than a straight hotel room. What we found when we arrived was a substandard facility and room. The entrance to the room was dirty with an outdoor area covered in...

This was the worst hotel experience I have had in 30 years of travel. The receptionist was surly. The beach-side cottage was no where near a beach. The room was tacky with threadbare towels. We left as soon as we saw the room. My recommendation is to avoid this place.

We took the tour of the Cabot Trail and came upon this "resort.....not," in Ingonish. The receptionist was fantastic very informative and friendly. We asked her where was a good place to eat and she recommended the Keltic Lodge which is a fantastic place to eat! But that should have been our first clue!!! We rented cabin 509 which is...

The condition of this motel is so bad and it is smelly(Mold). When we checked in at the afternoon (around 5pm), the room had not been cleaned up, so we have to go around to wait for clean-up. The window air-conditioner is so noise that my family could not sleep well that night.

This property is in an amazing location, but it is looking a bit run down. Some of the cabins have peeling paint, that type of thing. The pool is a really small above-ground pool that would be hard to get in for anyone with even slightly mobility challenges (you have to climb a ladder). Even the beach area needs some...

The worst accommodations I have ever stayed in. Cottage (by the ocean) is straight from 1980 - decor & fixtures very old and failing, fuzzy TV/no DVD player, has not been upgraded since then either - chipped paint, linoleum and very old carpet flooring over rotting floors, tiles chipped in shower, front deck not painted in many years. BBQ doesn't...

Stayed in a cabin close to the water with friends in a close by cabin. Upon arrival, the appearance of the cabins outside looked totally rundown. The grounds were not even maintained, mowed and full of large weeds, even in front of the walk way to our cabin. Cabin was musty with carpet very well used and stained. Went to...

The rooms are 1970ish. Right down to the carpet and tube TV. Windows are single slider so considerable highway noise in our room. They could use some comfy mattresses like at the Coastal Inn, Antigonish! Self serve continental breakfast was not being monitored or restocked. We had to go get our own water for tea.
