My wife and I stayed here for only one night....unfortunately! We would have loved to have stayed 2 nights, however we had a prepaid package in Baddeck. We had a wonderful stay, went to the fortress in the day, and walked across the street to the playhouse for an intimate concert that evening. The rooms are exceptional; clean, comfortable and...

Very quaint inn. Greeted by name on arrival, and afternoon tea offered which was very nice. Lovely room with beautiful view over the harbour. Whirlpool bath which was a lovely treat. Breakfast was the best we have had on our trip. Would definitely stay here again. A very good base for exploring Cape Breton.

We have visited Nova Scotia numerous times and always return to the Louisbourg Harbour Inn for an exceptional experience. The innkeeper Parker is always welcoming and helpful to all the guests...always recommending things to do and places to see (hikes, scenic drives, etc) . HIs breakfasts are comparable to none. He is famous for his fresh fruit popovers that only...

We stayed here while on a visit to see the "Men of the Deeps" playing at the playhouse theatre. Parker is one amazing host. Upon our arrival he was there to greet us in the most friendly and welcoming manner. We (2 couples) were shown our rooms and given a tour of the house. He then took the time to...

First let me say that I have unattainable standards for what I want in a hotel room. For this reason I seldom stay at bed and breakfasts, but we made this choice while staying in Louisbourg in Cape Breton. I drove there with a lot of anxiety as we were staying 2 nights. I cannot give this location enough praise!!!!...

We stayed one night and thought that about right for seeing the fortress as there is not a great deal to see in Lousbourg although the trails near the lighthouse look lovely. We had room 1 with 3 windows and a private deck with a small sitting area and were very comfortable although a coffee machine would have been nice....

Stayed for two nights mid August to be close to historic Louisbourgh. The Inn is within 2 minutes of the entrance to the fort and very convenient. The Inn is very clean and in good condition. Found it to be very quiet even on the second night when 6 of the 7 rooms were occupied. Spoke with Parker the owner...

We arrived later than planned from Halifax due to accidentally taking the long way on a more remote road. It was a little after six and the host did make us feel slightly guilty because he had to delay his dinner due to our late arrival. I do think this is the nature of the business and guests should be...

We very much enjoyed our stay at this comfortable , well located B and B. Our room was great with a balcony and there was another balcony for all guests over looking the harbour. The breakfast was different and delicious but what gave it the extra for us was the cup of tea and scones , served on a tray...

This is a charming B & B home, that we would visit again if we had the chance. it is more bare bones in the room with no A\C or coffee maker than other places we've been, but the friendly manner of the owners more than made up for it. We happened to stay there on a night when there...
