We arrived at the Mabou River Inn after 36 hours of travel and approximately two hours of sleep (thanks airlines!). It was exactly what we needed. Our room (Room #1) was spacious and comfortable. We were there in early May and I think we were the only guests there. We were made to feel at home from the moment we...

A great quiet inn only a few minutes walk from Mabou's famous Red Shoe Pub. Upon arrival, our friendly host led us through a common room decorated with antiques to our similarly decorated fresh and clean spacious but narrow room. A comfortable king-size bed means a good nights sleep before enjoying a complimentary continental breakfast with fresh homemade baking including...

Really enjoyed my stay here, was here for one night with my family. Very clean, brand new rooms, great bedding and they sent us on the road with some yummy baked goods. The town the inn is in is a small beautiful town that is home to the world famous Rankin Family, give the hotel and the town a visit...

We stayed here for one night while traveling along the Cabot Trail. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was provided and they bake delicious cinnamon buns which you can grab a few for your journey.

2nd time staying at the MRI this year. The cleanliness was what stood out to me. The whites were all super white: towels, sheets, pillows. The rooms I stayed in were both very large, but felt cozy at the same time. And you can't beat the breakfast! I was happy to have the fresh fruit and cereal, but even more...

First I must apologize for writing this review so long after our visit, but in a way I wanted to wait for the upcoming tourist season, so that if anybody is considering staying at this inn, this review will help make your decision a little easier. We stayed at the Mabou River Inn August 4th, 2016. A group of us...

This was our base for two weeks in September 2016 while we explored the area. The Cabot Way was on my wish list since childhood stories of John and Sebastian Cabot who discovered the Maritimes.........it was a dream come true. The owners David and Donna were so welcoming, clearly they like to do everything well and all the staff were...

We wished to have accommodation near The Red Shoe Pub and the River Inn was a good fit. There are various accommodations, some in a lower floor and some on an upper floor up a few steps. We were lucky to have a large 2 bedroom suite with full kitchen, living room and bathroom including a washing machine and dryer...

We stayed here after driving the Cabot Trail. Cozy and comfortable inn right by the river. Decor was great, bed was clean and comfortable. Downtown is a short walk away. We walked to dinner that night at the Red Shoe Pub (perfect evening). This is a great stop on the Cabot trail, don't miss this cute town and stay at...
