Came for dinner to hear the live music. I had the seafood chowder ($17)which was comprised of a thick, gooey, tasteless cream base and scarcely any seafood. The seafood that was present was overcooked. My husband had a seafood pasta ($33)that had an unpleasant gooey smoked tomato sauce and overcooked seafood. It left him with bad breath for 2 days....

Four of us have been travelling to different golf destinations for fifteen years. We booked into the Distillery and were not disappointed. The Manager, Bertha treated us to a fantastic stay with great food, genuine down east hospitality and entertainment. The hotel pub staff, Holly and Erin were great conversationalists and hosts. The selection of food was plenty and the...

My room was nice but very standard. The Inn itself was really great. The restauraunt was good and there was great local entertainment nightly in the pub. Don't miss the Distillery tour! The surrounding country side is beautiful. All-in-all I had a very relaxing, enjoyable, and pleasent stay.

Stayed in room 9 which had a nice sitting area and window view of the river/creek and lawn area. Very comfortable. Staff was very accommodating. We ate in the bar area and found the prices a bit high. The evening entertainment was always excellent. For those who want a view of Nova Scotia, stay in one of the Chalets up...

The scenery is beautiful and the inner courtyard is beautifully landcaped. We stayed in a chalet and the view from the deck was amazing. The beds were comfortable with nice quality bedding. The chalet was very clean but needed updated appliances. The unit had a combination sink, stove and fridge. The fridge was broken so they put a bar fridge...

lovely place to stay in their chalets...BUT the ride up to the chalets is very very steep, and I am sure some cars would not male it, especially in the wet weather. At night it is very dark, but the views up there are priceless. We ate dinner in the dining room on a Sunday, and it was pricy but...

This is a fun stop just outside of mabou. The distillery tour is brief and simple. Potentially disappointing if you've seen a distillery before or know whiskey well. The whiskey itself is also pretty weak, if you know whiskey. However, dinner was great! Excellent fine dining with top quality food and service.

This is a unique little hotel that is part of the Glenora Whisky Distillery. While it is on a main highway just north of the cute little coastal village of Mabou, it's in a pretty remote location without any other hotels or motels anywhere nearby. We enjoyed ourselves & liked the hotel. While the rooms aren't very specious, they are...
