We rented the entire Main House for a week-long family reunion, making some special arrangements with Jane and her staff for a slightly reduced level of food service in exchange for free use of the kitchen and laundry. Jane is delightful - from early morning chats with my 85-year-old Dad to advice on sightseeing to sharing an evening glass of...

My wife and I spent a very enjoyable time at the Sword & Anchor. This B&B is on a rise overlooking a bay (with a local road in between). The rooms and bathrooms are fairly basic but very clean and tidy. (The bathrooms could use a light over the basin.) We made full use of the comfortable deck from where...

My husband and I stayed at the Sword & Anchor recently for our 1st wedding anniversary. I can't think of a single bad thing to say. The building is immaculate, and well maintained. Jane was very nice, and easy to talk to and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Great location easily accessible from Hwy 103 and scenic view out front.

While staying at the Sword and Anchor B&B we received top notch hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our home cooked breakfasts and beautiful views. Throughout our entire stay we felt very welcome and comfortable. Home away from home you might say.

Accomodations were scarce because of events going on in the area. I was told about a place called the Sword and Anchor, an Inn style bed and breakfast in Chester Basin....

The B&B is clean, and the owner tries hard. Bathrooms are updated and very clean and nice. The inn is located right on the highway so it is a bit noisy. Ask for a room in the back. The beds need to be replaced. They feel like the stuffing has been worn out of them and you are sleeping right...
