Our 3 night stay at this lovely B & B was just delightful. We were warmly welcomed by AnneMarie and shown to The Captain's room which is beautifully decorated with some of her own framed needlepoint creations. It is obvious that the hosts have put in a lot of time and effort to create a beautiful and comfortable home away...

It was my pleasure to host you both in our home, A Seafaring Maiden Bed & Breakfast and I so appreciate your lovely review. I was indeed pleased to share the story of my ancestor, Elizabeth Pritchard Hall, "The Seafaring Maiden of Granville" and thank you for appreciating her awesome accomplishment as the first woman to captain a ship across...

Do not let yourself be fooled by the low price of the room, your experience will be nothing less than of the highest standard. The house itself is simply amazing; picturesque, warm and filled with history, you will feel like you traveled in time. The host Anne Marie is genuine and welcoming as it gets, and will go right, left,...

It was my pleasure to host you both in my ancestral home, A Seafaring Maiden Bed & Breakfast. Your noting of the Victorian period of the home and its furnishings spoke so much of your knowledge and appreciation for it. Having driven past so many large weather-boarded colonial properties, it was great to see one from the inside. The proprietors have gone to great lengths to furnish the guest areas in keeping with the colonial period. I find that the Victorian style is a bit oppressive with so many knickknacks, pictures and flounces but I am assured that this was...

Thank you for your review of my ancestral home, A Seafaring Maiden Bed & Breakfast, built in 1881 by my great great grandfather, Captain Joseph Hall. I am pleased that you noted the care with which the Victorian period was paid respect in the choice of furnishings and other accoutrements of the era in which this home was built. Guest...

My wife and I had a wonderful time very much enjoying the charm of the house along with a great room and breakfast. Ann Marie and Bill were gracious hosts providing some family history on the home, along with directions to the local coffee supplier that we requested after the third cup. Highly recommend a visit.
