Jack and Patty Slater have turned an 1827 (or earlier) Granville Ferry tavern into a clean, charming B&B with superb breakfasts, afternoon tea & cakes, and wonderful hospitality. Probably $20-25 less expensive than the places a mile away on the other side of the river. Definitely a 4-star or more B&B.

What an incredible place to stay! The place was built as an inn and tavern in the 1700's. It has such a history. Because of its age be prepared for small bathrooms which must be fit into the old bones of the place. The rooms have original fireplaces and windows and so much charm. The beds are very comfortable.
