I requested the bottom floor of the carriage house as I was traveling with my 75 year old mom and sister who just has leg surgery.Upon arriving was told we were on the top floor and when I said I requested bottom the owner just waved his arm at me said it was rented and continued to talk to my...

Jeff and Karl arrived at this fabulous hide away after along day of cycling from Annapolis Royal. The owner was very helpful and informative. Our accommodations were clean and comfortable for the price. The property has a large salt water pool and warm hot tub for our wore out bodies.I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who is traveling...

My husband and I stayed at the Grand Street Inn and were impressed with how meticulously well kept it is. It is a large home of over 100 years old and has beautiful wood floors and tasteful furniture. The bedrooms and sitting room on the second floor were very beautifully decorated. We were in the attic and it was more...

Unfriendly host. Breakfast was a joke: cold coffee and cold bacon, NO eggs, NO toasts, plain crepes and a piece of fruit. Spacious rooms but very dusty, not good when you have allergies. I've been sneezing all morning. There is a nice outdoors pool. I wouldn't recommend this place.

We stayed here after a long drive from Cape Breton. Our room was the cosy attic room. Richard was very pleasant and made a smashing breakfast. And gave us some good hints for the Cape Split hike. Kentville info centre isn't on the best site

"Yah breakfast is included. It IS a Bed and BREAKFAST". This was the response I received from the host when I made the mistake of asking the question. Seems to be a canned response for this fellow. If it wasn't so late in the evening, I would have walked there and then. Room was decent, somewhat clean, but extremely dusty....

The review below from "C I" below is accurate. While nice in person, I don't believe the current owner (property is for sale) has the customer service and personality traits of a B and B owner. I think the property could use some TLC and more attention to detail. The value and location are acceptable, and nothing in particular made...

We stayed here for one night on route to our destination on the Bay of Fundy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was upstairs and was very comfortable. We enjoyed the sitting room off of this bedroom. It was equipped with a mini fridge and T.V. The pool area was also very nice. Breakfast was delicious. It was within...

I would like to start by stating that I did not stay at this Inn. The absolutely horrible reception that I received when calling to book a room was enough to turn me away. To start, the owner was short, clipped in speaking and made me feel as if I were wasting his time. I have never stayed at an...

Three beds to choose from in the top suite with the turret room. Beautiful older home with great character and comfort. Our wonderful host offered to carry our luggage to the top of this 3 story home. Our sleep was comfortable, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was filling and enjoyable with wonderful shared conversations with a fellow guest....
