This hotel is over priced! Bagged breakfast, fruit flies in room, bathroom door did not close, beds were saggy, air conditioning not cooling room. It would of also been nice to know this hotel is being used as a salvation army location.
Wonderful rooms, great features like coffee makers, effective air-conditioning, powerful showers and friendly staff! Plus they are attempting to maintain proper service during this difficult time of COVID-19.
Property has been renovated with newer interior. Tubs have been replaced with showers, new mirrors and vanity, laminate flooring, etc. New beds and tv. Despite all this being new, the baseboards and walls are the same old stuff as before, and you can tell. Shower heads are the same and work horribly. Takes a long time to get hot water. Pool was out of order as well as fitness room. Workers running about all day, fixing the pool and blocking the driveway with their work van. Noisy sleep due to banging doors at 3:00 and 4:00 am.
I was a little nervous about this hotel when I seen a security guard posted on the second floor. Came to find out the second floor is home to people waiting for detox. This is not a place I would ever recommend for a family with kids. I’m here for work and leaving soon and can’t wait. They are outside doing what knows and it’s not something kids need to see. Stay away from this place at all costs.
Pricey for what it is. No bath, only shower. Stains on the wall and the complimentery hand lotion was half emty. Real disappointment. Avoid that like the plague. Total cost of 156$ for entry level room. This is Ajax not downtown Toronto. Outch.
