Thanks for taking the time to submit this review. I enjoyed meeting you and your family. You never know what the breakfast conversation will be in advance, I was especially intrigued by the talk about instrument landing of airplanes. The sun is finally shining to-day so the pool can heat back up. cheers, Bill

Just returned from a girl's weekend at this lovely B&B. The host, Bill was very nice, helpful and accommodating. The home is very clean and spacious and the setting is beautiful. The breakfasts were very good and there was plenty to eat. I would highly recommend this B&B. There is lots to do in the area (great shopping in Dundas,...

My stay at this B&B was wonderful. It is on a large piece of secluded property just outside the city. Everything was clean, comfortable, spacious and charming. Breakfast was tremendous and covered all the food groups, delicious coffee and more than I could ever eat. The best though was the owner - Bill - who from the moment we stepped...

Thanks for taking the time to post this review, and so quickly as well. Very glad you felt at home here and had enough to eat. The pool was opened this week and is sparkling clean, albeit a wee bit chilly at 57 F. But a few sunny days will help that. Do you happen to remember where you put...

Just stayed this weekend at Ridgemoor B & B with two friends while we attended a conference nearby. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet. There is a small kitchenette where we were able to keep some staples, so we had dinner in the dining room/lounge one evening. Bill is warm and welcoming. I felt completely at home while staying...

Thanks for this review. You followed through as promised. Glad to hear Ridgemoor met your expectations, This week the new 10 ton geothermal unit is being installed and they say the air conditioning will be twice as good at half the price. I hope so. You and your friends were the neatest and tidiest guests that have ever stayed here...

We didn't want to stay in a city hotel so chose this B&B as it was more out of the way. It was a lovely house in the woods but still close enough to shops and restaurants. The rooms were great with their own bathrooms and a lovely large bed! Our host Bill was great and provided us with interesting...

Thank-you for this review. Your comments are especially appreciated coming from such a seasoned traveller. In the B&B industry there is no standardized inspection process so reviews like yours are all prospective guests have to go on for booking decisions. Thank-you for the info on "Atmos" clocks. I'll get it working yet. cheers, Bill

We were in Ancaster for a wedding and were lucky enough to find this charming B&B for our stay. Such an unexpected surprise to drive a short distance from the industrial/commercial hub of Southern Ontario to this oasis of nature. As soon as you drive on to the property, you are surrounded by peace. Our host, Bill, was welcoming and...

Thanks for this review. Glad you enjoyed your stay and that the weather stayed lovely for your weddings. The LDL room gets great north/south ventilation but if you open the windows the birds wake you by 5 in the early spring and in late summer the cicadas can get really noisy. Wild turkeys have been in the backyard 4 mornings...

We were very fortunate to stay here for 4 nights in mid Sept. as we were attending a wedding in Ancaster. I cannot say enough good things about the hospitality that the owner Bill showed us. From his excellent cooking of awesome hot breakfasts in which he shared some of his own honey and maple syrup to his great conversations...

This accomodation was very peaceful and relaxing. Felt better than being at home. Nestled in a wooded lot yet close to eating shopping and attractions. Bill is a super friendly host, an amazing breakfast cook and conversationalist. My extended family and I had the opportunity to take up then entire top floor of this estate for 4 nights. If ever...

Thanks for this review. My breakfasts are not culinary masterpieces but I do feel they are healthy and filling. Using the honey from Zenon's hives in the front field (bees get their nectar from the golden rod) and maple syrup that we make from our own maples adds a unique touch to our breakfasts. I must say I appreciated your...

It was a beautiful place which was surrounded by endless trees and flowers. This is unlike any other B&B because once you walk into this property, you will feel like walk into a forest. The owner of this place was absolutely kind and provided delicious breakfast. The rooms were spacious and clean. I will definitely go back to this place.

Thanks for this review. Glad we were able to meet your expectations. Sometimes the golf course to the south and the fairgrounds to the west, both about a mile away can play quite loud music that carries a long way some nites. I'm going to start providing disposable ear plugs in the future. we'd be glad to have you back....
