My partner and I stayed for two nights over thanksgiving long weekend. We were looking for a reasonably priced and relaxing weekend away and Windspire Inn gave us this. As other reviewers have shared, our room was small/older, but clean. The location is great and the owners were friendly and helpful.

The location was wonderful, but the hosts did everything in their power to make us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Our car got broken into while visiting, and instead of being helpful, they told us it was our fault. Hostile from day one until checkout.

This person and family did not stay at the Windspire Inn. They rented one of our cottages which is totally on it's own. We are not responsible for people who forget to lock their car doors. We are not hostile. If we are treated with respect we have no trouble treating others the same way.

We booked two nights in advance at this inn while travelling in the area. The king size room was on the small size but that was to be expected in an older place. The claw foot tub is in the room, separate from the toilet and sink, and does require you to step up and over the edge but there...

We found the rooms to be clean, cozy and quiet. The rooms are small but there is a common room, front porch and backyard to be enjoyed by all. The continental breakfast had everything you could want...hard cooked eggs, hot and cold cereal, bagels, fruit yogurt and cheese. We found the owners to be friendly and engaging. It is more...

We had a great 2 night stay here the weekend of August 14-15 2016. Few blocks to the beach and close enough to downtown. Rooms are small but quaint. It was very clean and tidy. It was our first time staying here and we will probably return again.

We booked last minute and had never been to Port Elgin. Beautiful little town and the Windspire is in ideal location and it is a fabulous spot with easy access to both the beautiful beach (facing. West for spectacular sunsets) and downtown for restaurants and amenities. The owners are extremely friendly, courteous and accommodating. The room and overall facility was...

Second time staying at the Windspire and it was just as lovely as the first time. The rooms are very clean... bed very comfy and wifi greatly appreciated! Location is a short walk to the beach and within walking distance from a number of restaurants.

We stayed for 4 days at Windspire Inn and had a great time. They kept true elements of the century old house. Very clean and tidy. We utilized both the back yard space as well as the front deck. Jerry and Deb were very hospitable and accommodating to our needs.

My husband and I had a lovely couple of days at this inn. We explored the area and surrounding communities so the fact that the room didn't have any entertainment was fine, we enjoyed the comfortable room and the fee wifi. Would stay here again if we are in the area.

Super clean rooms, lovely gardens, welcoming common areas, good breakfast provided. Deb & Jerry are hands on hosts-friendly & helpful. We last stayed about 9 yrs ago with previous owners but D & J are clearly keeping on with Winspire's great reputation. We'll be back!
