First time staying here and for the reasonable price we paid we were happy. We rented one of the cabins with a kitchenette which had all you need (except a kitchen towel) . Nice and clean. Stone fire place is a nice feature and adds character and romance to the room. Shower is a little tired but worked fine. Great...

Our family has been going to the Bluewater for 3 years now, everything you have read in previous reviews is true. Location is wonderful, accommodations are rustic, CLEAN and comfortable. We have rented all the different units for either ourselves or our children. Fireside cottages are great when you are able to enjoy the outdoors, we find 1 double bed...

Spent the Labour Day weekend in one of their cozy cottages. The host and hostess were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We even got to spend time with other guests at one of their traditional Labour Day theme parties. We loved that it was within walking distance to the main street with all the stores and restaurants. We will definitely...

We revisited Southampton to spend some time with our son and his family. Staying with them was not an option so we chose the Bluewater. We werequite pleased with the site - on the beach, views of the sunset from our balcony, hospitable hostess, clean, comfortable and close to everything. It is somewhat dated but it should be. Its been...

Hubby and I stayed at The Bluewater (on the beach!) for one night while touring along the Lake Huron coast, the 1st week of June. Our room was on the 2nd floor with a large balcony overlooking the lake. Spectacular sunset, which could be viewed from the beach, the balcony and in our room through the large windows. The room...

The Bluewater is the BEST place to stay in Southampton Ontario. It's only a few feet off the sand of the beach and only a couple of doors down from the main street of town. Downtown is only a short one block walk away. Plus there is a small park at either end of the street for you to enjoy....

After reading the reviews before we went I did have some expectations. Wow This place is amazing. We were able to stay in the top floor with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and expansive balcony. This place proved to be a haven for us. THe weather was fabulous which also helped. Anything we wanted was already in place in the...

This property is like going back in time....to the 70's. The decor has not been changed since. The rooms are spotless clean though and the view is unparalleled for sunsets. Great value for the money and the rooms are Suites with kitchen. I do not recommend the cottages. They are small, dated cabins.

Rustic and simple rooms. Very clean with a great view. Relaxing, just like we wanted. There was no food services available but we knew this before arriving. Close to downtown and the local beach. Plan to return for a longer stay.
