We stayed at North Winds Brackley Beach on July 11th and 12th as part of a Caravan tour group. We had a very large comfortable room with a king bed overlooking an open field and woods. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the staff were very welcoming. The breakfast was continental style, with cereals, fruit, cold cuts, bagels etc and was... More

I hope you enjoyed the rest of the Caravan Tour as much as your visit to PEI, we love to hear that our guests were able to enjoy some time here on our property as well as the rest of the Island. Great tip for future guests on the insect repellent! Those black flies can be awful in the evenings,... More

This place was located to one of the nicest beaches on the island. Quiet and not touristy. When staying at Northwinds you are given a free pass to the Brackley Beach Provincial park. The beach is in this park. You can walk for miles or bike the paths. Northwinds rents very nice bikes for $20 a day. The staff are... More

Very nice place. Rooms were very well maintained and the grounds are well maintained. Also the fitness area is really a fully equipped gym that includes a lap pool. The breakfast was very good and able to handle a large group with ease.

We stayed here as part of a tour. Our room was definitely showing it's age, but it was adequate. The property itself was pretty and the staff was pleasant. We probably would not go back there as independent travelers.

The beach was beautiful with soft white sand. It was clean and although we were there on a Saturday and a hot day, it wasn't too crowded. The water was cold but not unbearable so we were able to have a quick swim. We found beach treasures - interesting rocks and shells. We also enjoyed watching the children building sandcastles.

We initially wanted to stay in downtown Charlottetown but were not able to book a place in town due our untimely stay during the Cavendish Music Fest. So glad we were able to squeeze you in on one of our busiest weekends of the summer. We really liked North Winds. The food was simple and light but very tasty lunch and breakfasts. The walking path is landscaped very nicely, an unusual find. Rooms are adequate with immediate hot water. Only cons were the non-working hot tub and substandard pool. Short drive to Charlottestown.
