Last year my husband and I travelled to Prince Edward Island on a cycling vacation. We chose to stay at the Rodd Resort for several reasons, including location, but mostly because of a previous stay while attending a golf tournament at the property. We had such a wonderful time, we returned this year, and invited two more couples to join us. They were very pleased with our choice! We definitely plan to return again next year!

No shuttle, restaurant not open, has to go to clubhouse to eat… with no shuttle, bugs in room, TV did children screaming in hallways playing at 7am… save your money and go to Brudenell where they truly do care. The course was in rough shape as Fiona took at 3500 trees but considering it was in fantastic shape. When the seed catches it will more than likely be very close to a true links on the front 9.

We stayed 2 nights here for a sales conference. It was amazing, great quick and friendly service. The resort was beautifully decorated and clean as a whistle. The manager was on point the entire time we were there. Even at one point noticing that we weren't eating as much of the sweet snacks provided for our meetings and had the kitchen whip up a variety of different sweet and savory fresh made potato chips! I highly recommend visiting the beach as well. Given they had lots of damage from Fiona and had a brush fire come way too close for comfort, it was still beautiful and amazing in all concepts. They just finished renovating their cottages and I can say you won't be disappointed!

Loved the golf course, a thrill to play. The staff are knowledgable and friendly and they make you feel important and welcomed. At the hotel the staff greeted us as if we were VIP guests. We will definitely return next year.

The scenery at Crowbush cannot be beat. you do not need to be a golfer to enjoy this location. The beach is spectacular. I was cycling in the area and the roads and trails were wonderful. The clubhouse is a wonderful spot for dinner.

My husband and I celebrated our 40th Anniversary at the Crowbush resort this summer. We enjoyed the golf and food available at the resort. Our room was clean and exactly what we expected. We would recommend this resort to our friends and family.

Our impression of this place is it is not so good anymore. It's old and tired, in dire need of paint, carpets, quieter toilets on other floors, screen doors that work and fixtures that aren't rusty. Having a quiet fridge would also help. One tip, make sure you request not to be put in a wheelchair access room.

The resort is on a beautiful site with views of dunes, marshes, and the Gulf of St. Lawrence beyond. Some of the hotel rooms and cottages have a nice view; some do not. If having a view is important, be sure you talk directly to someone at the hotel to make your wishes known. The place looks shabby. There’s rotting window frames and peeling paint all over. Check out the front door to our cottage. We were delayed nearly an hour beyond the normal check-in time because housekeeping wasn’t finished and then by housekeeping inspection. But there were problems that neither the housekeeper nor inspector caught. The refrigerator was missing a part that made it impossible to store tall bottles; the icemaker didn’t work (but a community ice machine was nearby); there was no regular coffee, only decaf; one of the toilets was in perpetual flush mode unless the tank cover was removed and the ball float manually lifted; there were salt and pepper shakers, pepper was full; salt was empty. The on-off switch on one of the lamps was broken rendering the lamp useless. There were only two lounge chairs at the pool, and one was broken. Mostly little things, but not my idea of what a luxury resort should be like. There’s a laundry shed with two washing machines (one was broken when we were there) and two dryers. Wash and dry are $2 CN each. Dollar coins are available at the front desk. Free laundry soap and dryer sheets are also at the front desk. (Although when we got the coins for the machines, they didn’t tell us about the soap, and we had to make a second trip to the front desk to get the supplies.) The beach is a long walk from the main building, but there’s an on-demand shuttle that can take you. But bring your phone. You must call if you want a ride back to the main building. There were only about 6 beach chairs for the whole resort. The beach is very nice, and you can walk a long way. We are not golfers, but the course looked beautiful and very challenging (lots of water and sand). Staff was very accommodating. Summary: a nice location in serious need of rehab.…
