I have been to a few shows in the new location.. much preferred the old location... anyway, I went to an evening show and a morning brunch show) - the price of the food does not match the quality or quantity, the food arrived almost cold (like it was pre-made and just put on a plate), and it didn't have much flavour. The lighting needs to be more thought out for the type of performance, as much of the show we were craning our necks to see, and when performers came into the audience, there were no lights that came on for us to see them. In addition, we took my inlaws to one of the shows and by the time it was done, their bodies were very sore as the chairs are rock hard and very uncomfortable. This does need to be considered as the events can be two hours + and makes it not accessible for many people. I think this business has so much potential but as a local, the novelty is great but not enough to draw me back regularly when the food quality is so poor.

The music hall has relocated to Charlottetown. The music hall capacity is larger but the quirky charm has been kost. The location is in the Arts Hotel on Kent Street. The location underwent a major renovation recently. The hotel has a small restaurant separate from the music hall.

We joined The GraceNotes for the gospel brunch today. Great performance and great food. Lots of clapping hands. I’d recommend this performance any day of the week to attend. Looking forward to another gospel brunch later in the summer.

The Trailside Cafe and Inn offers a perfect place to relax and enjoy. It is a quaint old building in Mount Stewart. The Trailside Inn has a restaurant, Inn accommodation and is also a music venue situated right next to the Confederation Trail and close to the PEI National Park at Greenwich. It has a fantastic atmosphere, is cozy and offers fabulous food. The decor is really very quirky with an old panelled door serving as one table, mis-matched chairs throughout, beautiful original artwork on the walls together with bits and pieces of the old mill which was the original purpose of the building. It seats only about 50 people or so, but it makes for an incredible show. The musician(s) who play there have a very intimate setting in which to perform, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, as did everyone else there. Our party of four didn't stay here but we ate here and listened to the music. We enjoyed a scrumptious dinner while on a bike tour in June. The restaurant provided a great ambience, local beer on tap and great food. Fantastic owners and wait staff! It is unique, high end and original. Without a doubt, come here for lunch or dinner and music or Sunday brunch. Book ahead for the music to guarantee a spot. The place can get packed if there's a good band so make sure you reserve. I'd suggest you get there early for a good seat near the entertainment. We had no idea what to expect and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening. It's the place to be! The stage is raised just enough and situated in the perfect spot so there isn't a bad seat in the house. Expect to spend over $100 for a couple for dinner and drinks and music but it is worth it.Take a chance, you may end up having a wonderful and fun experience in PEI!

My husband and I spent one night here. The room was simple but very clean. We had dinner here as well because we wanted to go to the show. The food and service were excellent. The venue is cozy with no bad seats in relation to the stage. There is a great breakfast place within walking distance down the road across the bridge. For some reason the inn seems to be surrounded by mosquitoes and unfortunately a bunch got in the room with us. Everyone was very friendly and very laid back as far as booking, buying tickets for the show and checking out. It’s a cute place.
