This hotel/B&B catches your eye as soon as drive up. The owners Richard and Wendy are energetic and most welcoming. After a short climb to our room on the 2nd floor we found our room to be bright, and spacious. The breakfast in the morning was awesome, good portion of food to start the day. We will definitely make this...

Wow, not sure I've been described as "energetic" before, especially at the end of the season. You should have seen us in May. Thank you for your review. I hope we see you again.

This is called a hotel for historic reasons but is in fact a B&B. The suite we had (i.e. bedroom, sitting room and bathroom was comfortable and reasonably roomy. The little 'town' of Victoria is conveniently near the Confederation bridge and is a charming time warp. This B&B is one of the many old buildings. Not all the rooms have...

This is an old 3 story building so you have to be able to climb a few steep stairs, but once you get to your room, you will find it tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, comfortably sized with thoughtful little amenities like a cork screw and real wine glasses. There's a nice little sitting area inside with 4 big comfortable chairs,...

We stayed at the Orient Hotel for five nights in August. Not only is the hotel bright as a button with all its fresh, vibrant colors outside, and cool, seafaring colors indoors, its owners Richard and Wendy are most welcoming. They're blessed with a sense of humour, flexibility, and discreet but thorough attention to their guests' comfort. I was particularly...

We stayed two nights at the Orient and loved every minute of it. The B&B and the town of Victoria are extremely charming, and we wanted to stay longer. The hosts are very nice and the breakfast is creative and excellent (apple bacon french toast, for example). The rooms are decorated with artwork of local PEI artists, and everything is...

Room was tastefully decorated - beautifully decorated, actually. Breakfast was fantastic - very tasty and unique. The hosts are very nice - they make you feel right at home. Everything was perfect - I so enjoyed my stay there that I would return anytime. And the setting is magic - the tiny surrounding village is a jewel.

Thanks so much for your kind words. Word of mouth certainly goes a long way to promote not only our B&B, but our little village as well. It was our pleasure hosting you and we hope to see you again.

Welcoming hosts in a beautiful spot with mouth watering breakfasts. Comfortable, well decorated rooms. An interesting and charming village with a few shops and good places to eat and located centrally so a good base to visit the island.

Thank you for your review, Kate. It's too bad there isn't a site on which to rate our guests. You certainly would have received 5 stars. Thanks for visiting.

I had some doubts when I made the reservation to stay at this little hotel, but I now think it's the best place to stay on the island. The innkeepers are lovely, welcoming people who have made this a perfect little get-away. We stayed in a suite on the top floor with a view of the water, a gigantic bathroom,...

When we made our reservation, we picked what appeared to be a rickety old hotel because the price was right and it is located perfectly on the south shore of Prince Edward Island, near the bridge and about midway between Charlottetown and Summerside. The hotel turned out to be totally charming. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were...

We spent one night here and really wished we had time to stay longer. Our hosts were accommodating and well informed about the area attractions. Our one bedroom suite had a view to the lake and was well decorated with charm that reflected the driftwood theme. The hotel has many period features and colorful Muskoka chairs on the veranda. Breakfast...
